Because we (black people) are the largest consumers of fast food in the nation from a demographics standpoint. The combination of poverty and saavy marketing make us natural candidates for high level fast food consumption. Lol. I work for Walgreens and they do something similar with the music. Stores that are in black areas play R&B/Soul music while the stores in white areas play rock/modern pop music. The black hair products section is also larger in the predominately black stores as well.

ALL stores do that and why shouldn't they?

If you don't adapt to the local market trends you are destined to fail, all it takes is ONE visit from someone looking for something people would associate to with that race and it NOT being there for them to never visit your store.

It's nothing personal, its just business. A long time ago I went to the Walmart near the "uppity and rich" neighborhood and they didn't have many of the things I would want...so I took my ass back to the "ghetto" walmart as many people here like to tag it. IDGAF, I know Walmart is in this game to make money. Why would the Walmart in the rich neighborhood have the same amount of FUBU sneakers as the Walmart which would appeal to the black and hispanic crowd?

I wouldn't be surprised if one day the Kroger near the Hispanic area has that SALSA music blasting in a year or two. shyt would be @ first, but then it will slowly turn into I see you Kroger.
