Above the fray.

instead of going on Social media he can try to get in touch with these guys

I'm aware of legacy touring, and the RTB concert series. I've posted content promoting it before.

I'm sure Shan is aware of, and participates on spot dates here and there at concerts. Solo or with his famous rival in the Bridge Wars.

I don't think that's the point of this thread. This 50 year Hip Hop commemoration is a financial windfall to early acts, and the Mayor was intentional in opening the city sponsored events up for them to earn money.
Might be the last time and chance that many of them will cash in on their status and accomplishments.

Shan is just asking a guy who was influenced by him andv who is still in the light, to crack open a door for him to get some light too.

They say money can’t buy you happiness but Id bet a stack on Shan, Rock and them not being as bitter clowns if they were paid in full.

Nearly all old heads that did well for themselves are like super happy and supportive people, but then you have some of these bums. Almost always close to broke and almost always alone with no friends or family. So you can assume that their hate stems from their own wack situation
It's a chicken or egg situation tho

Cause I feel like if someone is always bitter and has negative energy they isolate themselves ito a negative loop.

People who show love and are easy to work with get more opportunities usually

The shyt that's weird is how grown men will let their Fandom make them soo fukking weird and gay acting!

How you mad at a man, telling another man to stop saying his name at shows? :dead:

He didn't even diss the man for saying his name. He literally just saying don't say my name anymore! :dead:

The old school artists have always said this. Nobody owes them anything, but if you're going to pay homage , pay true homage by opening up an avenue for them.

Nas opened up an avenue for Shan when he put him on QB’s Finest. Not only the album, but one of the album’s SINGLES

Nas opened up an avenue for Shan when he put him on one of the Where Are They Now remixes when he had one of the most buzzing albums of the year

Nas opened up an avenue for Shan when he sampled his voice on Back When on Life Is Good. Shan gets royalties and publishing for that forever.

Nas opened up an avenue for Shan when he resurrected the honor of Queensbridge with Illmatic after Shan LOST the bridge wars. Let us never forget, the biggest moment of his professional career resulted in a LOSS that hurt not only him, but his entire projects. Without Nas and Illmatic, and later It Was Written, and Mobb Deep’s The Infamous, nobody would have ever given a flying 747 F U C K about what Queensbridge had to say regarding rap.

Nas gave Shan PLENTY of avenues to make sure his name was synonymous with something other than falling on KRS One’s sword. And Shan decided to shoot them opportunities up his own arm. Pathetic

Old heads will tell you, you could not rep Queens for a long time after that beef

Shan deserves some bars for this man. Not a diss record or anything, but just like what he said to Pete Rock. This is foul.
