:comeon:

His solo career never popped off

But as far as NWA goes..he is up there with DRE

Ren and D.O.C wrote every muthafukking thing

Yella made half of them beats and never got recognition for it
Don't waste your time explaining rap with a fat Mexican chick shaped like Sponge Bob. Clearly she was looking for attention.

:blessed:

Would you believe this song was actually more famous where I'm from than any N.W.A track? :heh:

Yeah bruh you gotta be kidding. :bryan: Arabian Prince was quite bootylicious. Did he know Dre from the World Class Wreckin Cru? I mean this dude definitely didn't fit in the NWA persona. This is the same dude that wanted to name the album Straight Outta Compton. From Compton With Love. :comeon: :camby:

The white rappers are on the top of the charts too. :scust: Most of the black rappers are sound so terrible and you can't understand what the hell they are saying. I never in a million years would think rap would be so shytty brehs.

*Pretty soon hip-hop won't be so nice, no Ice Cube just Vanilla Ice*

well almost anyone can understand his frustration even though ren was a second mc behind (pause) cube until cube left and then by default he came their number "1" mc. ren played an important role in the group. it's n.w.a.'s story, not no 1 particular person ;so they all should have their time to shine in the trailer as well as movie. that's the way i see it anyway :yeshrug:

Pause :dead: :dead: :dead:

i'm an mc ren fan, but still, apart from yella, he is the most irrelevant member of the group. eazy e, dr. dre and ice cube are household names, so of course the movie is going to focus on them. especially in the trailer, which is meant to attract an audience.

i understand if he feels it is a lack of respect, even though he has been in the entertainment business long enough to understand how it works. he's never been a stand out member, so of course he is not going to play a stand out part in the movie. anyways, getting worked up over a trailer and venting your frustration over social media is a bad look. if he doesn't like the way he is portrayed in the movie, he has every right to say so, but he should do it in another way, instead of talking about "bytches who know nothing about hiphop". it's a movie, not a history book. and saying that this is about his fans and his family and not his own personal butthurtness i ridiculous.

Just because he wasn't a household name doesn't mean he was irrelevant. Irrelevant means he's replaceable. They couldn't just replace MC Ren...without him there is no NWA. All five of them played a part, even Yella.

this is true, but as i said, the movie is not a history book, it's entertainment. plus, we're talking the trailer here, not the actual movie. the trailer is designed to attract an audienc, therefore, it focuses on the most prominent members of nwa. mc ren was always my favourite out of the group, but he never was a star. so while i understand that he might feel a certain way about not being included in the trailer, i think he should voice his disappointment differently. the smartest thing would be to wait for the actual movie. if he has legit gripes about the way he or his contributions to nwa are portrayed, he has every right to say so. but still, a twitter rant might not be the best look. he's a grown man, so calmly stating that he didn't like the movie, because in his opinion, the writers took too many creative liberties and focused too much on certain members of the group would be the better way to get his pojnt accross. what he posted on twitter makes him sound like a 16 year old nerd with a bruised ego.
