he lacks knowlege of self and unfortunately the majority of OUR people does in the western region..
maybe one day he will wake up..

They love Mayweather more in Africa than the US though

once again all he was saying was, he can't fix Africa's problem, he'll end up going broke
he has to make sure he's family is taking care of for generations to come before he can worry about
saving the world.

Look at MC Hammer, he broke his back helping people from his city, went broke
and everybody shytted on him, laughed at him.

Also Africa's problem is money, there's no amount of money Mayweather
can throw into Africa that help any country, only thing that help Africa is an African Army
willing to fight and die to reclaim the resources from their land.

So we're gonna ignore all the charity work he does here in the states?

Should he give his time/money/efforts in Africa? Yeah sure, but lets not act like dude just sits on his money. Donating money and time in your community is>>>>>>>>
I don't think anyone is questioning his charity work. The issue is that he made a statement that comes off terribly no matter how you try to frame it.

Im not defending his statement because it was stupid as hell. I was talking about the reactions in here acting like he hoards all his money.

I agree (mostly) with his statement, but the way he said it was a little :snoop:

I still remember during one of the 24/7s Floyd being on Skype with some soldiers in Afghanistan (or maybe Iraq, can't remember) and one of them asking how stays motivated to box, and Floyd pulling out some money and flashing it around. That was one of his more :snoop: moments to me.

Im a huge fan of dude and think he is the best boxer that I have ever seen.....but, I don't think when mayweather leaves he will be loved. Break all the records he wants but he will never reach that level that ali/tyson has because dude does not fight for anything.

Now dude does have a point, what has africa done for him. But can you imagine a tyson/ali saying some ish like that :ehh: I honestly can't brehs. You just don't say stuff like that. It was like damn, this nikka really only fight for the green :ohhh: Black people like mayweather because he is a great boxer, but lets look at pacman dude is loved by his people. I don't know maybe its the lack of charisma or personality etc but something is missing from dude, he's like a robot.

Now you could say who cares about being loved? But Loving and liking can seriously change your legacy. Ali will always be the goat boxer because people love him to death. Tyson will always be his number 2 (even though he shouldn't be) because he was the black kid from the ghetto who destroyed his opponents with pure emotional rage. Pac man will always be seen as mayweathers equal (even though he not) because of the love people have for him.
When mayweather makes comments like this in the moment it just adds fuel to the fire & that fire is IF he ever gets defeated in the ring he will be discredited heavily. You're right about pac being compared to him because many people believe it shouldn't matter about arum that the fight should've happen a long time ago. You ask many boxing historians & they'll give you a dozen fighters who they believe could've beaten mayweather.

That's why his undefeated record is so important to him because he knows if he were to lose people who already hate him will celebrate.

Why? They asked him a question and he gave them the real answer.

Why do ex soldiers become mercenaries and be in shyt like Blackwater, money

Difference is them soldiers weren't haters, they were happy to get a glimpse into that life
but more interested in seeing Ms. Jackson then getting they feelings hurt of something dumb as money

shyt wasn't even the real answer though, that's the sad part, it was just the role he was playing at the time.
