zab was the man at welter....he had all but the wbo belts in his grasp....it was going to be a big money fight until zab screwed up and let baldomir beat his ass...however baldomir only paid for the wbc belt thats where the belts splintered...the ibf however instead of removing zab as champ like the wba did, they let him keep the belt..making him a paper champ...that fight should have been dead but for whatever reason it continued
