iPISfkDOIsqUp.png
"

So the fukk what nikka it's boxing, a dude fights dirty you fight dirty right back.

You got low blowed? Go Danny Garcia on them nuts :demonic:

Getting hit with rabbit punches? Give that nikka the Evander/Bradley forehead special :demonic:

If dudes don't want to see the fight because Maidana only won 4 rounds cool but that "he fought too dirty" shyt is wack :camby:

It would be funny to see how mad the floyd haters will be if floyd declines a rematch

Nikkas might fukk around and have a meltdown :pachaha:

I dont think ive ever seen someone who so many people want to lose, keep winning. Its like getting sonned over and over by someone you hate.

As far as who he should fight, I dont know

But both Thurman and Porter are strong dudes. both undefeated. Id like to see floyd beat a power puncher like Thurman. Fight would probably be clean as well. I believe porter is fighting in July or august...I believe July..so I dont think a floyd fight could happen so soon. Cotto wouldnt be a bad choice either, floyd could have the a title in 6 different weight classes. And it not like he hasnt given his opponent a weight advantage before.

Madaina can join Ortiz and :camby:

real question is, why do you dislike Floyd so much?

real question is, why do you dislike Floyd so much?

lets revisit this. floyd signed a contract with showtime for 6 fights..he's done 3 so far...2 of those 3 didn't perform well PPV wise to justify what showtime is spending on him especially the last one where he had an expensive undercard. so he put himself in a situation where he has to have a viable opponent AND it has to be sellable on PPV

september 2014..who can floyd actually fight?

keith thurman = last fight was against a faded julio diaz..he won but too short to make any decent impression...unlike shawn porter who ko'ed a notable fighter in paulie on that same card..could happen but its not going to sell on PPV and ill be surprised if showtime green lights it..he's out

shawn porter - has a mandatory..he's not available for september..he's out

miguel cotto - has a working agreement with bob arum right now...his next fight will be with bob arum at the end of the year or early 2015...if he did decide to fight in september..a big IF he's not fighting floyd :russ: else a big can of worms will open for Floyd

marcos maidana - gave floyd his closest fight since JLC (115-113 on my own card)...roughed him up..went 12 rounds with no visible damage..and above all put up a damned good fight..and isnt bound to any fight...do i care to see it? not really..not because of maidana who deserves his accolades..but it should be on regular showtime instead just like the first fight ..logical choice

now your other question

floyd the fighter = yes i like him...esp if you've boxed you can understand a little more what he puts himself through to have the skills and conditioning he has..ive mentioned several times i like floyd's style of fighting and i can name my favorite floyd fights just as well as anyone...thats where it stops..floyd's career, level of opposition, his persona, his "business" decisions doesn't do it for me to put it lightly...and i dont do any of the racial shyt either...black, white, hispanic, asian..if i fukk with you i fukk with you

Porter and Thurman while I would like to see this in the future they are not ready(they'll get a Canelo schooling) and it wouldn't sell any ppv.

Cotto rematch? :why: He beat the shyt out of Cotto breh. How can you want to see that over a Maidana rematch? :what:

who actually wants to see a maidana rematch?

I wouldn't mind it, I had it 8-4 but Maidana made Floyd fight and that is something we really don't get to see these days. Plus I think Floyd blows him out this time and @Mook can shut the fukk about Maidana already. :smugfavre:

floyd stans dont want to see floyd get roughed up again..the rematch with maidana is logically the most available one for floyd in terms of fights he can take to satisfy the agreements of that showtime contract...garcia, porter (unavailable for sept), and thurman are not ready..khan wont fight so soon after ramadan..top rank welters themselves are unavailable due to current politics..but thats 147...cotto has a working agreement with top rank for another fight so he's out for september...154 there are available fighters..the problem is with the exception of canelo no one will pull the audience needed for execs to green light as a PPV opponent for him..and canelo (not available for september) didn't do himself any favors by getting shut out by floyd where maidana and cotto were competitive. a rematch while can be done (should he beat lara) will be a hard sell to take seriously unless canelo wins in spectacular fashion in a notable fight after lara. brings back to the question raised

who should floyd fight this coming september if not maidana and why?
because the result will be the same, if anything a rematch would be even more one sided

what did we learn about maidana, he couldnt do a damn thing in the middle of the ring and this so called rough up can be avoided by just staying off the ropes

i rather see a fighter with some fire power in the middle of the ring who can challenge floyd, maidana is a one trick pony

a pony not good enough to beat or challenge floyd

Floyd has proven he can "beat the shyt" out of pretty much everyone he faces. So If we are using that to judge whether he should fight someone, then he shouldn't fight ANYONE.. let alone someone he's already beat.

the problem I have with the maidana rematch is three fold. first, I feel like people want to see a rematch because they somehow feel maidana got "robbed" which is blasphemy. And if maidana and his camp are going to use that to demand a rematch they can :camby:

second, I feel like Maidana tried to break every rule to beat Floyd.. fuk would I want to see him do that again?

Third, Floyd has already figured Maidana out. A rematch will just be reminiscent of round 5-12.

so what does Floyd have to gain here? only way his critics will shut up is if he knocks someone out.. But Floyd doesn't fight that way anymore

He didn't beat the shyt out of Maidana, he def won but it was far from a beating. So you are saying he shouldn't fight someone he already beat but you want a Cotto rematch :dead:

Is it ochie wally or one mic :stopitslime:

Maidana made Floyd fight, like I said that is something we haven't seen in a long time. No one is saying he was robbed except for Maidana stans.

Third, Floyd has already figured Maidana out. A rematch will just be reminiscent of round 5-12.

Then you should be all for seeing a rematch :sas1:

It's not about what he has to gain it's about who he can sell a ppv with and Maidana is his best bet out of his current options.
