If the Floyd Fan Club could put forth a realistic alternative to Maidana in September I would like to see it.
Maidana 2 is all that Floyd has to go with for his next fight.

Tdot.. till the death of me
No he did not.

If Maidana was the A side, there would've been a much larger uproar over the scorecards.........

I mean, how happy and content did Floyd look after the scores were read? Listen to how shaky his voice is during the in-ring post fight interview. He can pull a Timothy Bradley and fool himself into believing he "dominated" the first fight now that the dust has settled, but it's only so long fake scores can pretend......

I do think it was a close fight, but even though it was close, i thought it was clear that mayweather pulled away from like the 5th round onwards.

Its kind of like two people running track. They might be neck and neck, but then you see someone pulling away. Yeah it was a close race, but everyone could see who crossed the line first.

Thats essentially how i feel about the fight.

I thought the same thing when I first watched the fight, watch it again Maidana won 4 rounds thats it
those chopping right hands never landed, he kneeing Floyd, elbowing, head butting, low blowing, he was fighting like a disgrace

floyd voice was shaking and he looked the way he did post fight, because he hurt his hand in the fight, and he was in serious pain

I forget what round it was, but you can hear his father telling him to dig deep, that nikka has a mental zone like no other

He was telling him to dig the body, which Floyd tried to do from 6th round onward. With that said, he did hurt his hand: Roger confirmed it after the fight.

He clearly aint have the left he did vs Canelo, he barely jab, and even turned south paw a few times....................

Floyd going into the dog house, to fight a gritty dirty Chino, proved he's still prime and he needed every bit off prime that night, he simply wanted a dog fight

man the more I think about it, the more I hope to God he doesn't rematch Maidana. I mean, what's the point? Why fight someone a 2nd time who did everything dirty just to win, and still came up short? Floyd has nothing to gain from fighting this bum and his cheating trainer. I wonder who it was who wrapped margarito's hands during the first Cotto fight.

Honestly Chino's dirtness discouraged me from giving him some close rounds for instance 11, why stretch to give rounds, when your holding, rabbit punching, headbutting, throwing knees and tackles, thats Chino though he never gave any fukks, Weeks dont belong in a ring again, from the Angulo fight and Maidana fight it's obvious Oscar got to weeks somewhere down the line, I mean not one point off after all that bullshyt........

Great fight, but not deserving of a rematch, unless Chino gets a big Scalp, a big name or a big hype job....

Great fight
Yeah I saw weeks did some fight I was watching on hbo on demand. Dude even forgot to let the fights touch gloves at the beginning of the 12th. Maybe he's just getting old. Kenny Bayless is my favorite red anyway. Yo what happened to that ref Benny something. He was pretty good.

floyd stans dont want to see floyd get roughed up again..the rematch with maidana is logically the most available one for floyd in terms of fights he can take to satisfy the agreements of that showtime contract...garcia, porter (unavailable for sept), and thurman are not ready..khan wont fight so soon after ramadan..top rank welters themselves are unavailable due to current politics..but thats 147...cotto has a working agreement with top rank for another fight so he's out for september...154 there are available fighters..the problem is with the exception of canelo no one will pull the audience needed for execs to green light as a PPV opponent for him..and canelo (not available for september) didn't do himself any favors by getting shut out by floyd where maidana and cotto were competitive. a rematch while can be done (should he beat lara) will be a hard sell to take seriously unless canelo wins in spectacular fashion in a notable fight after lara. brings back to the question raised

who should floyd fight this coming september if not maidana and why?
