This is great for Floyd, low risk easy fight for big dollars, beats up a mediocre cac while surpassing Rocky's record. The stars are aligned, this will happen.

Dana's a business man dude, he probably would get a pretty big cut if the fight happened.

I think Floyd wants to deal with McGregor's camp directly and not have any UFC/Dana White involvement. Even if Dana does come in to negotiate, it's him and Floyd's camp, good luck agreeing on numbers!!

Does mcgregors contract include boxing though?

His contract is to fight MMA matches for the UFC. If he wants to go out and fight Mayweather, Dana White would have to broker a separate deal with Mayweather's team, or he will just block it altogether. Now, we obviously know both of these parties are very hard-headed when it comes to money, and I just don't see them working out a fair deal. Mayweather wouldn't even do a 50/50 split with Pacman, and when it finally happened a decade later, it was what, 60/40 for Mayweather still? Roy Jones/Anderson Silva couldn't even be done after many years of talking. McGregor is obviously going to lose, Dana knows that, which he will use as a big risk to hurt his brand by slapping another L on one of his premier stars. Mayweather will use that he is the top attraction, and will pull in most of the money. They simply won't agree to a fair deal for both sides.

McGregor will probably rematch Diaz.
