I realized this team wasn’t serious about winning in 2019. When the whole run it back plan turned into overpaying Horford and Tobias to make it look like Harris was willing to spend the money on the team. On paper the payroll was high but they were below the tax. Paying everyone to stay would have brought them over the tax. He doesn't play well with Embiid at all, he only looks like his best version of himself when Joel is out. When Joel is in he plays too passive and his touches go down.
PG either has to be the scorer on this team or he has to be the facilitator for us to be successful. Either way the offense needs to run through him and I don't understand why Nurse hasn't figured this out yet. People ain't gonna like hearing that tho
The offense is too predicated on getting Joel the ball as crazy as it sounds, he's too much of a ball stopper
