I disagree. Dude's been playing Luka ball since before he got drafted. Peep his euroleague content.

I do think a different coach and a different supporting cast could rein him in but as of now, if they cleared space for a FA, they'd be signing up to play Luka ball.

He could forego if he really wanted out of Dallas but not gonna happen..

It's very rare, but yeah, he'd sacrifice about 7-8M per year I believe, he'd have to sign a short 1 year deal somewhere and then he'd be able to sign a longer deal closer to that ballpark elsewhere.

So yeah he'd be looking at a sub-20M dollar loss over the lifetime of that contract if he wanted to go somewhere else, and he'd be betting on himself, his play and his body to stay healthy the whole way. Just not worth it.
