Hardcore Holly tells about the time Steve Blaccman beat up JBL and humbled him in front of everyone

At Kansas City airport, Steve and I were waiting around when Bradshaw came over. It was an early morning flight and John was still drunk from the night before. He started patting Steve’s ass. Steve said, “John, I don’t play that shyt, knock it off.” John patted him again. And again. Steve was getting brutally pissed. He told him, “John, next time you do that, I’m going to knock your fukking teeth out.” So, of course, John did it again. Steve whipped around and backhanded Bradshaw, popping him with jabs in the face.

John started swinging and missing, and his head was snapping back with each of Steve’s jabs. Steve stepped back, planning to kick Bradshaw’s knees out, but he got his leg caught in a bag handle. Al Snow and I grabbed Steve, Ron Simmons grabbed John, and we pulled them apart. John was walking back and forth like a bandy rooster, looking to fight. Before we left, Steve told him, “I’m going to fukking kill you.” He meant it too.

We got our car and got on the road. Ken Shamrock was riding with us. Me, Blackman, and Shamrock. That’s a dangerous car, and I’m the warm one — a teddy bear compared to the other two. That whole journey, Shamrock was poking and prodding Steve, telling him that Bradshaw was going to beat his ass. Steve wasn’t saying a word. And who did we see when we checked in to the hotel? Bradshaw and Ron were right there.

The boys don’t always stay at the same hotels, so it was a complete coincidence and not a good one for John. He came over to apologize and Steve said, “No apologies, I’m going to finish you later,” then walked off. We found him in the gym, still boiling mad. Once we were in the arena and had sat down in catering, John walked in. Everybody went silent as Steve stood up. He said, “If you’ve got something to say to me, you say it now or I’m going to finish you in front of everybody.”

Bradshaw walked over, apologized and said, “I shouldn’t have fukked with you,” and shook his hand. That was the end of it. Steve sat down and said, “Bob, if it wasn’t for that bag, John would be in intensive care right now.” Trust me, I believe it — if anybody can put Bradshaw in the hospital with one kick, it’s Steve Blackman.

Not really because I just gave the most infamous tale about joining the business without even delving into the shyt that went on in the New Japan Dojo...

It's a carny business hell the fact that Vince coined the term sports entertainment instead of wrestling to get outta state regulations and it worked is probably the biggest work in wrestling...

If this is ANY other profession I'd be mortified at the allowance of this type of behavior on the regular but when the root of the industry is filled with so much bullshyt that is well documented that someone who is diehard enough to want to get involved in the business can easily discover, it's kinda enter at your own risk territory to me.

And I understand that for pretty much everyone that the E is the end all be all point they want to reach but for someone like Mauro who Bas even stated that he has huge downswings annually why would you subject yourself to the bullshyt that has been well documented that you deal with as being an announcer in the E? Especially when you have a great job working for the number 2 promotion in the world.
In sensetive as fukk.. you cant say that when this dude has a mental illness. He cant really control his emotions, thats why its fukke up.. its one thing to pick on the new guy but You dont tease someone who clearly has issues handling that type of stuff you dont think Mauro wanted or even tried to be stronger or deflect it, you dont think he thought he could handle that shyt? maybe maybe not but you cant say that like you were there and he just ran home crying as soon as it happened..

I have sympathy for people with mental issues, but you don't go into a prehistoric business like professional WRASSLIN if you have it.

Soft trash announcer should've known

And I :salute: JBL for checking him, it's forcing him to get help, in fact JBL is the one who cares more about his mental health than anyone because he is forcing him out of the business so he could get the treatment he needs

Yeah, but he's an announcer, not a talent. I mean, I bet when they have special ring announcers like Al Roker, they're not hazing them.

You think wrestlers were bullying Gordon Solie?

Wrestling fans have a big problem with double standards. Mr. Fuji used to cook dogs and feed them to unsuspecting wrestlers, but everyone loves Fuji as a good-natured ribber.

Nobody likes JBL, so when he does shyt he's a not a ribber, he's a "bully." Plus smarks like Ranallo, so ya'll heated anyway. I wonder if anyone would care if JBL did this with Tom Phillips or Saxton. :jbhmm:

:mindblown:What does that have to do with this?

How long ago was this?

Do you seriously think that mr. Fuji could cook dogs in 2017, in a world with Twitter and Facebook in it and still be beloved?:aicmon:

Like seriously, you nikkaz bringing up shyt that happened 30 years ago to justify JBL's bullshyt is absurd. There's all kinds of shyt that happened 30 years ago that wouldn't be allowed today in every walk of life.

He's not doing this for Mauro, even though Mauro is a personal friend of his.

This makes zero since. If he's a close personal friend, then that seems exactly like what you'd do for a friend.

OH ok, the statue of limitations ran out? :jbhmm:

So does that mean none of the shyt JBL did a decade ago counts either then?

How exactly did he bully Ranallo?
