they had already looked out for him tho in honesty, he was a second round pick so you know he never got that big upfront guaranteed money on his first deal. So when FreddyFlatFootDaGawd was released they decided to pay MJD like a feature back even tho he only shared time.

I've never seen a team that goes nuclear on their own offense like that. MJD is the heart and soul of that franchise. I already think dumping Leftwich and Gerrard was an awful decision especially when their defense keeps their games within a touchdown or a field goal most times.
