Here we go again.another reboot? what is this not even 10 years? why would anyone watch these movies?
out of 5 movies... 1 "good guy" died... that was stacy gwenI'm pretty sure principal characters died in the last two Spider-Man movies and I ain't talking about Uncle Ben's "I stay dying" ass, breh.

villians always die... this is the problem with most comic movies and marvel more than anyone... just too campy and ZERO fear that the hero or someone major is gonna get it... i mean we dealing with aliens, super mega people, people that can crush your head like a grape.. and you get like 3 drops of blood, a roughed up suit, and not even innocent bystanders catching a hospital visit
That issue where the mind manipulation scheme of the prisoners gets to him and Osborn absolutely loses his mind may legitimately be one of my favorite comics ever.
"Smells like death, blondes and victory!"
Later when he attacks Swordsman he's like "You can't do this to me, I'm a baron!" and Osborn shouts "I AM GOD!" back at him.
Venom isn't the biggest breh. Norman is. And I say that as a 90s kid. Norman killed the woman he was going to marry, created versions of his parents to fukk with his life, is the father of his best friend, took control of the avengers, and became the king of the underworld. Venom is a special forces instrument now worn by flash Thompson. Trust me if they truly were the biggest and baddest marvel would be exploiting the hell out of them but they don't so there's your answer
And I'm saying miss me because as a character he and carnage are kinda meh. Always have been. Especially carnage. With eddie you can maybe get a compelling story out of him but carnage has never been written well at all and there's a reason he's rarely showed up in spider man comics since the 90s ended. Meanwhile he's continued to fight Norman and ock and sandman and kingpin etc. which is really the way to go; kingpin or a crime boss. Make its out him dealing with the underworld rather than him dealing with science experiments gone wrong. That's how you change it up
And I agree with you on marvel's movies having no stakes and it sucks but it is what it is at this point
Venom is definitely getting another shot at a movie especially with Marvel behind the production this time and he's definitely in the top three in terms of villains for Spidey probably the most popular for casuals he always gets mentioned.
Morlun a actual character breh... Venom may not have the best character development but Morlun is basically Spider-man's Doomsday a guy built just to kill him. The Spider-verse event was weak due to him being featured as a main villain.See I'm anything but casual tho breh. And I'm sure he'll get another shot in a movie. He should but as far as actual character and villainous deeds he's not even close to tops.
Osborn for obvious reasons
Ock
Kraven
Kingpin
Morlun
