Of course the ATL
I want them to grab a tight end or wr in the 1st two rounds. Then guard braden smith out of Iowa and bj hall(DT) or pj hall(DT) in the 3rd round.

This is a deep DT draft. Taven Bryan is a popular name in the 1st but he doesnt excite me. Da'ron payne is a beast but his sack production isnt there.

I've seen Bryan mocked to us a bunch, DQ loves UF guys having coached there so I could see that if Payne isn't available.

I don't think we're drafting a TE this year. They're gonna publically support Hooper but he needs to step his game up. Too inconsistent with his routes and drops last year. The Falcons also still have TE Eric Saubert who they drafted last yr and signed Logan Paulsen this offseason. Now granted neither one of those guys should challenge Hooper but I think with those guys on the roster it signals that the team is set at the position, but we'll see

I'd be open to a WR depending on who it is especially if Payne isn't there and we don't love any of the other DT tackle prospects. I think there's a good chance we trade back out of #26 to get another pick

If we go DT then I think Payne won’t be there. I’ll take the DT outta Miami. I forgot his name but a caller on 92.9 just sold the hell out of him

Yea they def gonna give hooper another shot. I was glad to hear hes been spending the summer training with Matt Ryan.

The florida ties are definitely what has taven bryan linked to us.

The fusco signing pretty much guarantees we dont go guard in the 1st. Braden smith has been linked to us and the patriots. But he should be there in the late 2nd if we trade back.

Wr will be addressed but we just dont know how early. There are some damn good ones in the 2nd like anthony miller out of Memphis or equanamious from notre dame. That is quietly a hole for us because we old at that position and sandy can kick inside for the slot. We need a burner outside, that isn't as small as Gabriel was

Idk man. Calvin will be good but I’m not feeling this pick. If they wanna improve the offense then Julio needs more than 3 fukkin TDS.

We shoulda went O or D line

Gotta start planning for the future in addition to addressing a glaring need

Current Falcons WR on the roster:

GOAT
Sanu
Justin Hardy
Marvin Hall

Are you really comfortable with that WR roster? And in a weak WR class where there aren't a lot of great options, the fact Ridley (arguably the #1 WR in this draft) fell to us at #26 is a blessing.

As for the future, there's no guarantee Sanu is here after next season, at most 2019. Would y'all have preferred to go WR shopping next season when we may have only had Julio and a bunch of bums on the roster?

Listen I get that people wanted a DT but Taven Bryan was an ok prospect and as my Bird Breh @The ADD told me if DQ doesn't love a UF guy (Remember DQ loves UF players since he used to coach there and we have former UF guys Brian Poole and Keanu Neal on the roster) then something's up. If they didn't love Bryan and weren't gonna mortgage the draft to try to move up I'm good with the pick. I thought Ridley was a great pick :yeshrug:

BTW, we've still got another 6 rounds to get our starting DT, another LB, maybe another RB. But the value with Ridley >>>> need with Bryan

BTW, today I want a DT and maybe an EDGE (LB/DE) today. I'd go get the best RB in round 4 and fill out the roster with a CB in round 5, OL in round 6 and a DL prospect with the Mr. Irrelevant pick
