I dont think its too early to call duke riley a bust. Hes going to get targeted like worrilow used to. Teams are going to exploit that. I rather have Ishmael in there honestly

Breh again he's 5 game into his pro career and he's starting as a rookie. His speed and athleticism is ELITE. He's gotta get better with his tackling and understanding how to read defenses (he was a special teamed at LSU before he started at LB his senior yr). But to say he's a bust after 5 games is insane, he's still getting acclimated to the pro game

It took Debo, Keanu & Devondre at minimum half the season last yr before they started to get it

Devondre was always a good tackler but he failed to diagnose at times. Debo made plays regularly despite his missed tackles. Duke is just a liability at this point. This fool looking like decoud out there smh

They're playing Duke ahead of Devondre in the nickel (which the Falcons are in 55-60% of the time). Duke is faster which allows him to run with the backs outta the backfield or run with a TE 20-30 yards downfield

You want Devondre running with James White? That's not his game. He's better closer to the line where he can use his size & strength to get after the QB, but Devondre was terrible in pass coverage last yr...he's improved some but Duke's upside in pass coverage is higher than Devondre's is

You wilding, Campbell is way more faster than duke riley. He was runner up to sammy watkins in the 200 meter dash in the state championship in high school.

He's been better than duke in coverage vs rbs this year, although that's not really saying much considering how terrible duke has been in coverage so far.

I get it. We had high hopes for the kid. I think he will eventually get it together but I rather not give him all this playing time at the expense of the team. The kid has not made a single play this year

But anyway, as an LSU fan, did you ever see him hungry to hit stick somebody? I don't think it's too early to knock down his expectations because bruh don't look like he like to hit people he looks more like a running back trying to make a tackle on an interception return than an actual defensive player, let alone a linebacker

Nah he was never scared to hit someone but he did take a lot bad angles. It happens when you lack experience and the speed of the game is too fast for you. Malik Hooker has the same problem and he was also a one year starter on college. That's a flaw that gets better the more reps you get
