So the Steelers beat the Browns by 3 points at home and move to the top of the ESPN power rankings. We beat Chicago by 6 on the road and drop 5 spots
It's gonna be a long season....
More than ever we control our destiny. NO isn't better, Tampa should be improved but they now have 16 straight games and Carolina may have some new wrinkles but at best they have improved on offense and on defense we have at a minimum added speed and versatility.Power ranking are useless in the NFL. If anything they serve to keep this team on their toes as far as public opinion goes. No one cares about last year or how you look on paper. The eye test wins.
They didn't look like a great team Sunday. The Bears threw some wrinkles at us and we didn't adjust all that well. Great win on the road but we got a lot of kinks to work out.

How is beating the BROWNS by 3 points passing the eye test? They actually got outscored on offense too. You're 1000% right that the shyt doesn't matter, it's just annoying to see how flat out wrong the media is with their narratives and everyone just lets them get away with it
I didn't watch the Steeler game but I will say offensively they seemed to rolling from the highlights. There was nothing to highlight about the what the Falcons did Sunday other than the great play by Matt and Hooper.
Stark was ultra conservative and flat out bland with the play calling. Its only one game but the contrast in playcalling is kinda scary. I got Greg Knapp/ Dirk Kotter vibes brehs. This might be why the media dropped them in the ranking. We might sorely miss Kyle's creativity.
They seemed to be rolling because that's the narrative they want you to see. Truth is they got outscored 18-14. A recovered blocked punt for a TD was the difference in the game. We didn't have very many highlight plays but our offense and defense both outplayed theirs
You could tell the NFL "analysts" were itching to drop us down from number 2. The Steelers look like crap against a worse team but they move up. With that being said, we should've blew the Bears out.
