Isn't this the guy that Beasley had that breakout game against? I know he's depth but a fifth rounder though

A lil pricey but I'm ok with it for a couple reasons:

1. Falcons signed an injured Austin Pasnor, who last played in CLE, as a backup T. He hasn't played this preseason and there's no telling when/if he'll be ready

2. The UDFA's like Andres Knappe and Daniel Brunskill aren't NFL caliber tackles and neither was former TE DJ Tialeva (even tho he might get on the practice squad)

3. Falcons are in win now mode, if you gotta give up a draft pick for a player who solidifies your depth you gotta do it. I don't love giving up a 5th rounder but our OL depth at the tackle position was horrible. Gotta give TD credit for making the move

Because yall wanted breh cut badly even though he wouldn't count against the roster

Not to mention the fact that he's arguably the second best corner on the roster

He's on his last leg. Either he stays clean and continues to be a good player for us or he gets kicked out of the league. There was no point in letting him go somewhere else at this time.

He's lied to the team and let his teammates down by not staying clean. He's been an offseason distraction for two straight years. Yea he's talented (id put him no higher than the third best CB on the squad BTW), but he's a knucklehead and yes I would've got rid of him. But playing the game with your own fanbase ain't wavy bro

I could careless about his off the field problems.
Main reason I didn't rock with Hageman was he was immature, inconsistent
he was a Smitty draft pick his time had passed.

Outside of a few key blocked FGs and showing up in the aints game in 2014

Takk isn't gonna play inside. He's strictly DE/Edge

But yea I agree, Hageman was a waste of talent. Now that he's gone other guys can develop and play. I still think the Falcons make a move for another DT but they may not need to. Roster is strong as is
