I'm highly dissappointed in my falcon fam in this thread.

Yall really shytting on our top ten QB that just guided us to an NFC Championship game win or lose? Yall realize how many franchises would kill to go from Vick to Matt Ryan?

Its no coincidence that Roddy's growth and production coincided with the growth of Ryan.

The narrative on Ryan is not done fellas. Elway had to lose ALOT before he brought Denver those two Super Bowls. Our team has the highest winning percentage over the last 4 years outside of the Patriots and before Matt we NEVER had back to back winning seasons..... Think about that :whew:

Yall just thinking with a heavy heart after the loss.... I hope

Atlanta To New Orleans
Maybe if your dumbass team knew how to defend a TE, your team MIGHT be in a superbowl.

Don't get it twisted, Matt Ryan is a bytch. But he is the best QB you'll get, and he's still top12. If your GM was as dumb as you are, then you would see what it's like to have a bad QB.

:what:

Best QB we can get?

Oh... oh okay. If you say so. :youngsabo:

Only thing you can blame Matt on is the fumble. The pick wasn't on him. I don't understand some fans.

Before Matt yall never got to the playoffs. Now you've gone the last 4 years including an NFCCG and yall mad? LOL

i'm just sayin if the falcons played some Defense, nobody would be talkin bout the fumble or pick and instead talk about Julio Jones and how Matt Ryan led the Falcs to the SB

forget trent, my bad
65% of our salary is on offense and we are over the cap going into next season. If you want to put weapons galore on offense, it has to be at the expense of something.

Matt Ryan is a top-ten quarterback today, with a ceiling that could only make him better with age/time.

Smh @ this thread.

Matt Ryan hit his ceiling. Once again, what is so stupid about this especially considering the talent and the way we are built, Ryan or any QB is suppose to be very good with this personnel.

Stupidity is making a statement and not thinking about the consequences.

nikkas are dumb as hell. They think top 10 QBs just fall out of trees :what:
I've come to realize this fanbase is kinda delusional when it comes the Falcons' success and in particular our quarterback.

Dude just turned 27 and folks swear he'll never get better though he's improved every year he's been here. Him and Flacco are the two best young prototypical QBs in the league. We are lucky to have him on the squad

@#1pick What regression have you seen that suggests he's hit a his ceiling?

Eh, I've had a full 24 hours to think this over...

I guess Ryan isn't THAT bad... we do need a Ray Rice or Matt Forte on this team to make the most out of him. Quizz is cool, but he's not in an between the tackles guy.

With the right RB and another TE (could use another slot guy though), Ryan could make it happen. Running game needs to be diverse.

And with defense... just another few solid LBs and 2 solid DEs (pass rush and intermediate coverage/run blocking), and we could make it happen. Maybe we're just the 49ers of last year. Who knows.

I agree, but with your team's lack of draft picks and salary cap situation, that shyt will take more than a season to rebuild and get a Ray Rice/Forte type of RB, TE/slot WR, 3 LBs, and 2 DEs.... You can't really compare yourself to the 9ers... They built their team in the draft over the years and it is all coming together right now...

Where did I say he regressed? I said he has hit a ceiling. I am convinced that the Georgia School system failed some members of our fan-base.

He really hasn't gotten better every year. He been on and off. Turner great, he's on. Roddy great, he's on. Roddy off, Ryan is off. You see the point. This is his best year as a pro by far and even then, he wasn't that impressive when watching the games.

Flacco compared to Ryan is like Reggie Miller(Flacco) to Joe Johnson (Ryan). Johnson is a better regular season player and is more consistent and a better defender and all around player. Miller is a much better scorer, can carry a team, and elevates his game in the playoffs. Most fans would take Miller or Joe Johnson.

:rudy: He just had his best season as a pro. Hitting a ceiling means there's no way he can improve and you have no evidence he can't. You're making a assumption based on criteria you made up.

Why are you trying to write the book on Ryan after his 5th season? 4 points from a super bowl and folks are saying that this is it for him.. :mindblown:

He's gonna be here for a long time either way and I'll enjoy having him as my franchise QB.
