I actually miss Striker. It seems like he was a genuine fan of the product and could have something insightful to say every once in a while. He could come off in a way that some people don't like, but the WWE could use someone like him.

Striker was a really good announcer in the WWE until Vince got in his ear

Props to Matt for bowing out. Him and Jeff pushed themselves to the limit for our entertainment and don’t owe us anything

Not an exaggeration, I’d prefer Mike Adamle to Michael Cole. At least he was unintentionally funny. Cole is just awful in the worst ways possible. He undersells everything, comes off as phony and robotic as can be, and takes people out of the moment. The only announcers I recall being as bad as him were 2010 Matt Stryker (go back and hear his call of taker vs HBK 2010. It’s cringeworthy), Todd Grisham on smackdown in the 2008-11 era, and JBL in the 2012-15 era.
On the flipside Stryker's reaction to Booker T's return might be one of the GOAT reactions.:russ:

Keeping telling you all: the commentary is the way it is because Vince wants it this way. He wanted a complete 180 from JR and that’s what we have. Cole being awful doesn’t help but Vince is producing them all to be carbon copies and not add or subtract anything from the product. The brand speaks for itself

So that explains why both shows are full of robotic type muthafukkas behind the booth
