Spider-Man and it's not even close.

I have zero interest in Matrix Resurrections, and I haven't even watched the sequels since they first came out.

-Spiderman. I gotta see what that multiverse looking like out here. I'm not hype for the Matrix at all & wouldn't bother if it wasn't on HBO Max.

There is nothing Spider-Man can do to compare to the worst Matrix has to offer. The poll results are an abomination. :scust:

Gotta give Feige and Pascal credit for fast-thinking though. They know that there are a LOT of ppl that don't give a cuss about that lil punk Tom Holland and that don't care for his version of "Iron Man's ward Spidey".

So they're bringing everybody into the fold by grabbing the Spiderman iterations that everybody loved. They're gonna grab ALL the fans with this one.

With that being said, if this was just another Tom Holland standalone movie, the name Neo would be on everybody's lips.

Well played, Marvel/Sony. Well played...

There will be another 5 Spider-Man movies in the next 15 years. With probably 3 different lead actors. :dwillhuh:

Matrix is the most revolutionary franchise in film history, Star Wars be damned.
this movie is taking all of the spider-men from the past 3 franchises and bringing them into one movie
I'm going to be honest I'm 28 so maybe it's an age thing but the matrix is just another movie to me
I know what it did for action movies and cinema in general but after 2 & 3 :yeshrug:

Matrix for sure, at least intrigued on where they take it and the meta commentary.

Don’t really understand the nwh hype of seeing a bunch of old characters rehashed and a small multiverse tease. Across the Spiderverse is the one I’m hyped up for :mjlit:Still going to see since I’ll have no choice with spoilers due to said hype.

I'm a huge Spidey fan probably my fav Character outside of X Men series. The thing is though Since 2001, Spiderman has appeared in 12 Movies (Plus you had the Venom spinoffs which is from Spidey's world). There's already been not 1 but 2 reboots since Tobey (3 if you count the Spiderverse film). Now they're trying to do a Live Action "Into the Spidey Verse" with this new movie. I'm sorry but I'm just not as excited anymore. I watched the first Live Action Spidey film when I was kid. It was the Japanese version. Watched ton of Cartoons and grew up on the comics. But seeing Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman and Lizard doesn't really do it for me because I previously watched all those movies in real time. Though it's a cool nod to "Sinister 6".

I understand the hype for younger fans that missed out on other Spidey's but the whole Universe bending thing feels like Sony's way of marketing the other films. Again it's a Spiderverse but in live action. It's like the Spidey Avengers in that way. Matrix is much more anticipated for me because they let the franchise breathe. They gave you a chance to miss what you enjoyed about watching those films. Where as there's a new damn Spidey movie every other year. The Last Matrix movie came out 18 years ago. I was a whole other person in my early 20's when "Reloaded" and "Revolutions" Dropped. There's been 11 Spidey Movies in-between that time. Sorry Matrix has more hype for me. Plus I haven't really liked the MCU version as much as Tobey, shoot I even liked Andrew's films more. There will be another Spiderman movie in a few years. (I mean Across the Spideyverse drops next year, lol)
