Not disproven but looked at differently. If I had two people and one left the scene I would have one person. If that person left then there would be zero people in that spot.. BUT als zero penguins. Is the "number" zero a real thing in this context? Having zero people in a spot is only relative to having had a person there before or expecting one in the future. It's just a human way of categorizing which exists only in our brain. We act like numbers are "out there" somewhere floating in space but there is no "number 13" outside of a person writing that shyt out somewhere. We are used to our base 10 counting but the "number 13" is an entirely different combination of digits in binary or other counting with a base other than 10. Number mean something very important. The system of mathematics has impenitrable internal logic like breh said so it is very handy, but it's contrived by people.

at what point in time did anyone say numbers are not SYMBOLIC of a concept or idea. They are scratches in paper, stone, sand, dirt, etc, etc that represent something.

If you had 1 person in that spot, and he left you have ZERO anything in that spot. That includes penguins, Velociraptors, kids named Tim, buttons, cars, bikes, bikes with 3 wheels commonly referred to tricycles(keeping in mind that "tri" is a symbolic representation of the concept known as 3 and not in fact 3 itself), birds, etc, etc.
