Math Hoffa cohost says if lyricism was the thing like back in the days Kendrick Lamar wouldn’t be up there like that .

I’ve finally learned Kendrick’s music isn’t really “lyrical” or about lyrical skill. Despite what his stan’s try to sell

Dude is more like this generations 50cent than a nas or somebody like that. :ehh:
Again… his 3rd verse on “TV off” is a masterpiece and up there with some of the best verses ever

Some of my favorite albums aren't on that super lyrical shyt and full of metaphors and punchlines. 2pac is a prime example, he wasn't a Biggie type of rapper but he's loved by almost everybody. This is a dumb take, I love Tribe Called Quest but I don't listen to Qtip or Phife because they're some lyrical geniuses, same with Project Pat. Not everybody needs to be GZA.

Like I said, the East Coast has showed their complete ass during this beef....
East coast has high standards, yall take criticism as hate on some female shyt. Kendrick gets held at least from his fans up there with nas, so he's rated by east coast media members like you would Jay or nas. If nas dropped this album it would have been called garbage, trust me streets disciple was called garbage in real time. Kendrick doesn't have many contemporaries so he isn't held to the same standard as everyone else.

Nah East Coast has a bias, there was a time where the same nikkas was saying Tupac can't rap. :manny:

Disagree because even tho I don't like Kendrick last 2 efforts. He still had a top 3 catalogue for any MC of all time. Most lyrical rappers struggle with making good music consistently. Kendrick damn near had a 4-5 album perfect streak. Not even Nas the GOAT did that. Not Hov. Only a group did that in rap. Outkast until Idlewild.

The chamber Kendrick was in during the beef is the K Dot I like. When he goes into other chambers I can't really listen to those songs in repetition. All in all I fukk with 85% of his music, it's just songs here in there where his flow and voice is eeeeeehhhhh so I get what dude saying. I fukked with Not Like Us off rip though which is probably due to how K sequenced the releases of his diss tracks. We were already giving him the victory before Not Like Us so when that shyt dropped man y'all nikkas know :pachaha:Everything he did was perfect..
