Wayne has been in the game since he was like 14 and has 100 hit records. He was a far better choice and I don't care if you nikkas think kendrick a better lyricist or whatever.
Give me a list of songs he would play if he did the halftime show....

First 50 doesn't let local Shreveport artists perform at his big event. Not even legend, Hurricane Chris got a call. Now Jay not having Wayne perform in his own backyard? Rough couple months for Louisianimals :francis:

All those artists you listed rank lower than Kendrick and much higher than Wayne. If they all performed than it only makes sense the #18 artists performs since he's bigger than them.

You said we're underestimating Wayne's popularity and how much his hits gets played. That's numerical data showing Kendrick is more popular. We have people in here acting like Kendrick only has two songs to perform. Numbers say otherwise.

He's more popular and relevant today than Wayne is so he's performing. Passing on the hottest rap artist for one who is not in his prime makes no sense.
the point is there are people that rank lower on that spotify list that performed before Kendrick. the list is a pointless metric. And again, some of yall are talking about Lil Wayne like he was some 1 hit wonder rapper. I'm not even a big Lil Wayne fan, but in terms of AVERAGE people knowing their catalogs, Lil Wayne shyts on Kendrick.
(i'm not mad that Kendrick is performing, that's whatever)
But, it's laughable to me that some of yall are trying to play Lil Wayne like he was just some regional act from 2005 or something.

People in here like "so what, would he perform 'Go DJ', Lollipop, and 'Back That Azz Up'??? :skip:" and a bunch of other songs he was a part of....i'm like YEAH. Those songs were huge hits for an era of people. What don't yall get?
