Master P was too ahead of his time. I Got The Hook Up was made because he really did drop the OG model of prepaid phones, shyt didn't work at the time because people looked at it like they were bootleg phones because the phones were trash.

He was the first to do prepaid credit/debit cards but it was too early because most "common" jobs hadn't started direct deposit and the internet wasn't as widley available to everyone so if you didn't have a bank account already you weren't actively looking for a debit card because you didn't need one.

Dude has ha some failures but he does have one of the greatest business minds in hip hop.
