Borland still hasn’t improved. Chambers looked good the few touches he got. Might need to get some 1st team burn. Passing game looked as I expected. Olave gotta protect himself better. Wilson catches everything. Wanted to see Williams get some more targets. Good 1st game though.

Yeah I like the way Chambers was hitting the hole. Sermon too hesitant for me.

Justin the most talent QB I seen at OSU outside of Pryor. Pryor looked like he was finally putting it together at the Sugar Bowl.

Passing game was flawless. Run game needs work. Steele Chambers looked like our best back, I want see what Williams look like in the run game. The walk-on running back looked good too. Defense needs work. Jordan fuller was our rock. We can’t depend on the d-line to make up for the linebackers no more and the secondary was allowing too many big gains. I think Cam Brown should start over Banks and move banks in the slot.

Nobody is crying about playing Minnesota kiddo, they're one of our rivals and they have a rich history. It'd just be nice to have a tune-up game like Netrashka before playing the team with the best QB and WR in the conference. Since it's a reduced schedule there was no point in trying to abide by the original one. The conference should have focused on viewership and premier games instead of attempting to give Ohio $alary Unlimted a runway into the playoffs where they'd get smacked by Clemson as usual. Who knows though? With as weird as this season has been perhaps Michigan and/or Penn State will expose o$u before Clemson does?

Fields is a bad man. Our defense need some playmakers. I can't help but feel disappointed how we are utilizing Baron Browning. Dude can naturally get after the qb and I think we need to find a lot more blitz packages for him. Hell we just need to blitz more period.

I think Olave needs to sit out at least a game or two. We probably have the deepest wr core in the nation.

Rewatching the game, Tyler Friday had no impact. I really hope Zach not starting or getting more reps was a one game discipline thing and not the staff thinking Friday was better out there. Zach and Tyreke are clearly the most explosive and impactful DEs. Maybe it doesn’t matter as much against Nebraska who doesn’t throw as much, but still.

Steele looked good the few chances he got. Think its gonna take a few games to sort out who should get the bulk of the carries

Yeah it will. I think using them in situations to maximize their strengths is the best way to go at it. Master is best in short yardage/goal line runs, and pounding the defense in the second half when the defense is more gassed. Trey is the better 3rd down back and being the back to possibly break one.

One thing not mentioned much was that Petit-Frere played really well. Kept an eye on how he looked ( ), and he was good. Line will really be great, just needs to get in their groove which will happen as the season progresses.
