Violent crime is up in Raleigh, which has a well-earned reputation as one of the safest big cities in the country. That just tells me the city, the county, the state, and the local branches if The Feds are gonna go all in going forward on cleaning up the streets here...

Anybody out here running the streets gonna get targeted, they not about to let Raleigh turn into somewhere else...

Bruh you know like I know these situations are not just "plug and play" and that simple. Even people with training, most of them have never been in situations with live bullets fired at them or someone next to them. It's an entire different atmosphere when you've got live bullets flying, the "I'm strapped" bravado leaves most people, regardless...

I understand your point, but I don't expect the average Joe with a gun to engage just because he has training. The average Joe tryna find shelter or stay away if they aren't I'm the line of fire, muhfucjas not trying to be heroes and most couldn't respond properly under this duress anyway...

Engage? Fam, he had on fatigues, he tried this shyt around 5-6 PM the sun is setting it's mad trees in that area, that bytch knew what he was doing, 100% he went prone in the woods then tried to escape to another wood area. they had the drones out and everything

I don't think we worse than Durham, Durham still Durham, I think the difference is Raleigh is closer to Durham in scale of violence than maybe it's ever been. North Carolina is not gonna let Raleigh turn into another Durham, this state would explode with two Durhams side by side (Fayetteville is actually the equal and/or worse Durham, but it's not in The Triangle so its outta sight outta mind...

There are too many firearms on the streets and in homes for gun violence to be close to eliminated. Even if there was a ban on manufacturing or importing them for the next five years.

Something that can be addressed and curbed to an extent, but too far gone to be eliminated. In my opinion.

The goal of eliminating them, isn't to be taken as literally every single firearm, and isn't something where the fruits will be realized in 5 years...

It would have to be big picture on creating a safer US for generations to come. I'm not gonna pretend I'm smart enough to create the plan myself, but there are people I'm positions of authority in Washington who could set the framework on how we go about shattering the flow of firearms in the US, and the subsequent violence that follows those firearms...
