There's speculation that someone else took his pics but people seem to think that he used a tripod and a camera with timer settings on, so I guess it's safe to say he took that pic himself.
Not on a beach. Doubt he was even that good with taken pics of himself. Since none of these were on his facebook, the pics weren't taken alone.
Might've been someone on the beach, might've been even his friend Joey Meek. I wouldn't be surprised since he recently confessed to knowing Roof's plans prior to the attack.
