This story is just so wild. It's like the fever dream of every nihilistic anti social maniac. The crazy thing is that it's basically impossible to prevent. There are probably a thousand hotel rooms here in Chicago with wide open views of Grant/Millennium Park and maybe ten of thousands of with views of the lakefront etc. I think it actually speaks well of humanity and our society today that these kinds of homicidal.rages are actually so rare.
