I'm currently playing Mass Effect 3 on insanity (Origin/PC) and i'm having a blast. I was kinda pissed early in the game when i saw a lot of the characters were missing, so i wasn't even gonna fukk with it. But then i discovered MassEffect2saves.com and ive been using other folks import files which carried over characters and decisions from the 2 previous games. I've already beaten all 3 on my xbox 360 with my own file transfer and decisions. I'm just glad that i didn't have to play the first 2 on PC to get what i wanted.

I played 3 three times. I originally played it on 360 (with all the default stuff) and it was with a male character. I actually forgot why I copped it on 360.

I had 1 & 2 in a bundle with ^^^ Wilma.

Then, it was ill playin' it with her, through my 1, 2 decision and havin' the full experience. It's like one big game.

The illest decision was the Tali one;

The part 3 ending didnt kill it for me in terms of what happend
But the build of part 2 and first 75% of part 3 was you building a team that was going to fight reapers.And teh finale was going to be affect based on how well you built your relationships/alliances over the past two games.

But towards the end it didnt matter it seemed what you did the past two games. Thats what bothered me the most

Earth level was a joke. I mean they hyped up the fact the reapers were going to attack earth, and it was a focal point in the trailers it but there was only one level.
The final fight was meh.

Not really, just knowing that they're making another series still makes me a fan.
Even if the choices didn't mean anything, and it was just an illusion it was great that they gave you the decisions to make. I think that should be the corner stone for everygame, but especially RPGs. That's what made me enjoy Fallout, The Walking Dead, the Persona series so much. The level of replay value in these games is just crazy just because of this mechanic.

What level of difficulty did you play on all 3? Veteran ( i might have played one on regular not sure)

What Platform did you play on? If multiple, which did you prefer? ME1 was Xbox, ME2 and 3 were PS3, no platform preference

Paragon or Renegade? Mixed? I did both renegade and paragon, when I beat ME3 again on insanity I'll play mixed

Favorite non-playable character? Least as well. The Invisible Man (aka the immaculate man, aka the immortal man, aka the illusive man), least favorite prolly that shen long nikka

Hardest decision you made. Regrets? Killed Wrex in part 1, felt so bad about it when I played part 2 on PS3 I undid it, Doomed the Krogans in part 3 including killing Mordin and Wrex again

Romance? On all 3 games as well. Liara, Miranda, Liara, fem shep Thane (no homo)

Favorite Squadmate? Can differ between the 3. I don't remember part 1 to well but I'm pretty sure Wrex was my go to goon along with Garrus (up until I killed him),

Favorite Powerbonus? Can differ between the 3. Dunno probably lift

Favorite Gun? Can differ between the 3. I liked the krogan shotty with my vanguard

I loved the customization and planet exploration from the first joint, I really wish there was more gear in mass effect 2, 3 to me had the best battle system if all 3 had that system

my fav out the series is part 2..it had the best balance between story and gameplay....part 1 had the best story, and part 3 had the best gameplay...as for your questions:

class? sentinel...felt the most balanced to me with powers and guns

difficulty? played on hard and insanity....beat the games multiple times

platform? ps3

choices? paragon heavy(not all choices will be good, but good will be the majority) for first playthrough everytime....i'm an overall good guy...

fav non payable? don't have 1 fav, like a couple for many reasons....legion and morton cause they got busy in the field; rex and garus cause of how they were written

least fav? the jarhead in 3..horribly written character

regrets? no regrets and no hard decisions...it was war, choices that were made, were made....

romance? for ultimate playthrough, the blue bytch.....in part 2 though, I made sure to fukk all the females in 1 playthrough...so much fun lol..

fav squadmate? look at fav non playable

fav power? warp...fukked everything up

fav gun? it was an assault rifle (name slipping my mind)

first mass effect? the story....that story was amazing...the other games didn't live up to that story....the gameplay sucked though for the most part....which they improved on in the 2nd and 3rd games...those shyts were great gameplay wise, and i'm glad they didn't bring a lot of part 1 in for those...

me3 ending? no it didn't kill the series for me...cause I enjoyed every min I played of the games up till that point....hell, I wasn't even pissed at the ending cause I see that shepard will be back in part 4...all signs point to it...

excited? hell yea...

Played only male on my Xbox. Currently playing female on pc. Default appearance on all. I tried to customize, but felt my creations were too fugly. too lazy to spend more time on it.


Class? If you played multiple classes. Explain which was your favorite to least.
Wesley = Soldier. Russell = Infiltrator. Janell = Adept. Soldier felt too boring, but i chose it as my first playthrough seeing as I wanted access to all guns. Adept feels pretty good on mass effect 3. Kinda wish I tried it on the first 2. Infiltrator is easily my favorite. Sniping + Tech abilities is fukking awesome. Best part: Cloak.


What level of difficulty did you play on all 3?
Mass effect = Veteran. Mass effect 2 = insanity. Mass Effect 3 = insanity
I kinda regret not playing the first mass effect on insanity. but i will say it was more harder on veteran than mass effect 2 and 3 on insanity.


What Platform did you play on? If multiple, which did you prefer?
Xbox 360 and PC. Preferred Xbox 360 with native controller support. The mouse keyboard is still an adjustment. The graphics aren't different, but playing in 2560x1440p on pc is


Paragon or Renegade? Mixed?
Paragon all the way. A few renegade choices here and there. I didn't have the balls to do a full renegade. Prolly will after im done with my paragon femshep in 3.


Favorite non-playable character? Least as well.
Joker, Anderson and Kirrahe are characters I wish I could've brought on the battlefield. That TV reporter is still a bytch and Batarians as a whole are a$$holes. I also forgot Udina (kudos to thashiek).


Hardest decision you made. Regrets?
Mass effect - Not giving wrex the cure for the genophage. Glad i got to resolve it on 3.
Mass effect 2 - I kinda wish I let Zaeed kill that dude, but i chose to save the others.
Mass effect 3 - None. Just wish Thane...


Romance? On all 3 games as well.
Wesley = Liara. Russell = Tali. Janelle = Garrus (working on it).
Favorite is Tali between the 2. Wish I could have banged Aria T'Lok tho. Liara is so boring.

Garrus. Been by my side all 3. Thane. So pissed he couldn't ride with me on 3. I really like Javik from mass effect 3. I love how he keeps shytting on Liara and making her mad.

Mass effect = Damping. Mass effect 2 = warp ammo + cloak. Mass effect 3 = pull throw combo ftw.
Kinda pissed how they weakened warp ammo on mass effect 3. Cloak is the goat so far. I heard flare is good but i need to buy omega dlc.

Widow sniper. I don't even remember the guns on mass effect 1.

I really enjoyed the more open world concept. 2 and 3 were too linear. But at the same time the combat got a lot better.

Second was a female named Tiff, Spacer life, War Hero background.Just started a 3rd run through since I copped the trilogy on PC for like $7.50. Another female named Zella with the Colonist background and the Survivor shyt. Still on ME1 with her.

Sex? Did you play both genders? Custom or default appearance? 1 Male, 2 females, custom all 3. Black Excellence!

Class? If you played multiple classes. Explain which was your favorite to least. Zell: Vanguard, Tiff: Sentinel, Tiff - Infiltrator. Vanguard was my favorite, it kinda let me be rambo with the skills. Sentinel was aight, but I prefer the biotic skills more than anything in the game and Sentinel is more support-based. Infiltrator lets me be a gunslinger hacking POS and I love every minute of it.

What level of difficulty did you play on all 3? Step above the default on every character but my 3rd, im playing the hardest difficulty. It's hopeless

What Platform did you play on? If multiple, which did you prefer? First 2 on 360. Last/Current one on PC.

Paragon or Renegade? Mixed? Zell: Mixed, a$$hole for the most part but Paragon when it came down to the harder choices. Tiff: Tried to do the opposite of first character for the most part. Current is straight renegade with few exceptions.

Favorite non-playable character? Least as well. The club owner bytch in ME2 :mynikka: fukk Udina

Hardest decision you made. Regrets? Wrex vs. Ashley and you don't have enough points to prevent what happens

Romance? On all 3 games as well. My male dude smashed Ashley, then Miranda, then Tali. At some point he had Liara too. Tiff was Liara central. Wasn't trying to get at no dudes Zella saying fukk love, all she got for chicks is gun clips and bubblegum.

Favorite Squadmate? Can differ between the 3. Wrex, Liara, Thane, and Tali.

Favorite Powerbonus? Can differ between the 3. That shockwave and that singularity

Favorite Gun? Can differ between the 3. IDk, didn't pay attention ton that. Just had a strong ass pistol and the 3 burst rifle for the most part.

Games progressed really well. ME1 is slow but great, the Mako kills everything though. ME2 I think had the perfect gameplay balance, but ME3 was much more cinematic. Each game has it's own good, and they cut down the bad incredibly as the trilogy goes forward.

Hardest decision you made. Regrets?
Suicide mission in ME2 before googling how to keep everyone alive. My regret would be googling the shyt and not figuring it out myself.

Romance? On all 3 games as well.
Tried every female, but Ashley was the first. After playing ME2 and seeing her reduced role, I went with Liara the second time around and kept her as the main. For femshep, I went with Traynor.

Favorite Squadmate? Can differ between the 3.
Combat only fav | ME1 - Wrex | ME2 - Tali | ME3 - Tali (Liara very close second) | Favorite overall would be either Grunt or Liara.

Favorite Powerbonus? Can differ between the 3.
Biotic Charge. Spam it, followed by shockwave, followed by cryo shots from a heavy pistol. Rinse and repeat.

Favorite Gun? Can differ between the 3.
Heavy pistols. Accuracy, power and mobility/weight.

What is something that you enjoyed about the first Mass effect? Was there something you wished they had still implemented from first to the other 2? Same question from 2 to 3.
As an astronomy buff, I loved exploring new worlds across the galaxy. That experience was the best in ME1. ME2 pissed me off initially because it took that away. It also changed combat and armor/weapon upgrades to something I disliked. Almost made me not interested in ME3. However, ME3 was damn near perfect...

.... except for the ending. I didn't feel the original ending killed the series, but it definitely short changed us. The alternate ending was much more acceptable but still didn't hit just right.

Absolutely. More Mass Effect is always a good thing.

Shoot, I'll post a couple notes;

• My love for Ashley was complicated by the fact I was a Fem Shepard, so, I did all I could to keep her alive I did it!
• Though I'm told Fem Shep, by far, is the better actor, I still felt a lil weird gettin' in a romance just to see what it was about
• I played the ending three times; I don't remember the first time (I had no emotional attachment to my Male Shepard on 360, for M3 only), the second time was before the extended ending,

  then the extended ending were Shep had the gasp, at the end.
• I, personally, have no problem with the original ending (sans the DLC).
• Spoiler

  I thought it was only right that Shepard died and I though the Star Child was totally inconsequential to the story; you'd beat the Reapers, then die.
• But, after reading a lot of reviews and post about it, I understand why ppl did.
• But, I think ppl were asking for a bit much.
• We'd definitely would have had a better ending had they not change the writing dynamic just for the ending (one writer for the ending v. a team for the entire series).
• My Top 3; Ashley, Jack & Liara.
  
• Liara was cool, but, that's because they developed the character more. But, that adds to it.
  
• Mass Effect needs to be the Star Wars of gaming; just endless games. I can't get into reading Mass Effect, too much. Seriously, what couldn't you do with just the worlds that you squad members came from.

I cannot see myself replaying the entire series, again. Not because of time, but, the emotional attachment I have with my decision (and my backlog ). Just replayin' 2 & 3 sounds cool, though.

Definitely #1 (Mass Effect is one big game, IMO) in my All-Time list.

EDIT: Wilma was always a sniper.
