It was only recently that I found out how grimey dude was. For a long time, I thought he got killed by some jealous dude.

What new information makes you believe that now?

To me he was too involved with writing to be that deep in the streets.

Any new news could be people talking lies after his death?

What new info?

This view comes from someone who called himself "I need money".

Nas wasn't really in the streets but wrote about it second hand.

The amount of clowns trying to disrespect Big L's legacy off gossip and unverified truths is disgusting. All this when he can't speak for himself. Disgusting.

People need to do better.

What legacy? The legacy of him being Shesty. You look up to these dudes as a grown man. I see where our issue stems from.

He can still be a good rapper and a Shesty person.

You in this thread defending him more then his best friends

Mase was a close friend he tried to get rob
Cam and plenty of others including his own brother said he went along on the hit to kill his future killer when he had no business on it.

Fat Joe and mase confirms big l trying to get Joe to jump mase lol.

It’s like me denying one of my all time favorites dmx being super gremlin in the streets. Cause he was lol.

But he still an amazing artist.

You gotta do better crumpy.

He wasn’t in the studio writing rhymes. His brothers and he was involved in killings, robbing, extortion and selling drugs lol.

And it lead to his death

Nas had shootout with people and carried guns, just wad a good hustler and was ultra violent like those around him. No stories come out about nas setting guys up to be robbed or hurt.

Some of the stuff may just be gossip, but L getting killed for going on a failed murder attempt is believable.

L’s own brother is the one who told the story, several years before Camron said the same thing.

And it doesn’t change his legacy for me. I love L as a rapper, not because he was a peaceful law abiding citizen.
