Mase could be in my top 5 favorite artists, solely of Harlem World, but he's goofball, though he does have a point here, that Puff isn't exactly known for doing the best for his artists, whether it was back then or in the years that followed. Mase probably turns 50 in like 5 years. It's no harm to Puff if he just gives Mase, or whomever else the publishing, but guys like Puff, don't think like that. The perspective isn't right or wrong, it's not empathetic, it's business, strong vs weak, Darwin kind of thinking.

Why do people always excuse shady practices as simply "being a businessman"? Shouldn't you operate out of good faith instead of greed?
