That deal couldnt have happened, salaries need to match since were over the cap....Bruce Arthur doesnt know shyt.

Its crazy how we have to read US analysts on social media cuz NONE of our local beat writers know a cot damn thing about the team they cover....Seriously Grange was saying Kawhi was not on the plane yesterday..

Our beat fuggin STINKS.

Kawhi really left us

Some of this stuff come out about him and his team is not flattering,im sure Masai will enjoy next season more tbh...

The part about his camp asking Masai to break this team up to trade for Beal/PG without a guarantee it would produce a re-signing...

He really wanted to break up a championship team as leverage to leave :what:

After all we did for him this season....Siakam should be the most offended by this shyt...they wanted Beal over Siakam as a running mate ? :hhh:

But players run this league, and it was always up to Kawhi to decide. Sources familiar with Kawhi’s thinking indicate Los Angeles was always the plan, in concert with championship contention, and if anything it was a credit to the Raptors that they made it a difficult decision.

Even that was a change. During the playoffs, and even the Finals, sources indicate Kawhi and his adviser and uncle Dennis Robertson were focused on the Clippers, even as Toronto’s championship run unfolded. During the playoffs Robertson was overheard more than once in the post-game back-hall melees talking about leaving; even after Game 4 in Philadelphia, where Kawhi made the first of two shots in the series to save the season, and during the Finals. The Clippers planned to pair Kawhi with 76ers wing and Kawhi’s friend, Jimmy Butler, and the Kawhi camp gauged Butler’s interest repeatedly. Sources indicate they were in contact even after the NBA Finals.

i still cant believe friendly ol caadians are still sticking up for kawhi and uncle dennis

This Kawhi frenzy is why players have professional managers and not their uncle.

This was so amateurish. Notice every other major free agent wrapped everything up on the opening day.

These fools would have took the whole summer if given.

Uncle Dennis was talking about leaving openly during the playoff run and no one reported :hhh:

Even that was a change. During the playoffs, and even the Finals, sources indicate Kawhi and his adviser and uncle Dennis Robertson were focused on the Clippers, even as Toronto’s championship run unfolded. Sources indicate they were in contact even after the NBA Finals.

The title closed the gap. When Butler decided to sign with Miami instead when free agency opened, it seemed like a blow to the Clippers. Sources indicate Kawhi was genuinely undecided at the time; he wasn’t ready to leave Toronto yet. By Thursday night, sources say the Clippers were telling people in the league they thought Kawhi was going back to Toronto.

So is kawhi still a diety to y'all?

Anyways bun this kawhi talk, shyts done, let's move on

We really rollin with these seven dudes for next year:

Lowry
Powell
FVV
OG
Siakam
Ibaka
Gasol

We're capped out, just got out of luxury... Doubt Masai will wanna take on more no?

That line up can make the playoffs and maybe win a series... But that's assuming no injuries or regression

.

Powell only one I'd trade because he's signed for years if you can move him for a expiring that would be great

Don't forget Stan "The Man" Johnson, Chris "Slim Duck" Boucher and Malcolm "Miller" Miller :blessed:

If they could somehow trade him for JR Smith's nonguaranteed contract, that would be fantastic

But then you'd have to start Matt Thomas at the two :picard:
