Where is the leadership? As bad as Ferguson got, there was still some sort of direction or at least a semblance of leadership, albeit superficial at best.

There is no leadership here. Just chaos and criminality.

Because this isn't some revolutionary action by the youth as some people here want to paint it this is in actuality opportunists taking advantage of a righteous cause to loot and get out their violent urges because humans love violence and breaking shyt and people being sucked into the mob mentality.

Also, if peaceful protests worked, you would never see a riot. Another thing whites will never get. What they really want is for people to sit by and do nothing. It's not hard to read between the lines. Who has been more peaceful in the face of bullshyt than us? Even the Buddhists fought back in SE Asia and if you study Buddhism their religious texts are the epitome of peace and understanding.

Where is the next MLK, Malcolm X, Garvey, Du Bois or Mandela from this generation going to come from? The biggest civil rights leaders you find these days are on the internet. Leadership has been substituted with hashtags and sit ins.

Not going to be getting any more leaders. Too many of our leaders were either killed, co-opted, or destroyed in some way. Can't keep putting your hope in to someone, to lead you to the promised land. And then when that person is ended, your hope to some extent ends with them.

This generation is going to have to do this with no leader.
