It is what is is.
Fair enough.
It is what is is.
You can't put none of that on Marv bruh, you can only blame management. I think he's a good coach.
Hell. Kinda hard to make the playoffs 4 years in a row.the bungals will be back to 2-3rd place in the division again and his job will be back in jeopardy
how about actually winning a playoff gameHell. Kinda hard to make the playoffs 4 years in a row.
And 2nd wouldn't be bad. When's the last time a team won our division two years in a row? Why you gotta be a fakkit? lol
Nice smiley. You really got me with something we've never heard before. fukk am I supposed to do? Become the quarterback?how about actually winning a playoff game
im pretty sure you have a better arm then Fitzpatrick 2.0 andy daltonNice smiley. You really got me with something we've never heard before. fukk am I supposed to do? Become the quarterback?
Aaaaaaad ignored. A Steelers fan who can't talk football like a fukking human being without showing their ass. Obviously I'm not surprised.im pretty sure you have a better arm then Fitzpatrick 2.0 andy dalton
your gulliable ass is the only Bengals Stan who catches feelings and always falls for the baitAaaaaaad ignored. A Steelers fan who can't talk football like a fukking human being without showing their ass. Obviously I'm not surprised.
Only thing I'm surprised about is that you're still a "Steelers fan" after missing the playoffs for 2 seasons. Your Kaep jersey come in yet? Beat it.
He's an amazing talent evaluator but the jacksonville jaguars of game day head coaches. Katie knows what the fukk she's doing as well, if you ask me. Mike Brown is known for being ridiculously loyal to his players, especially QBs. But the thing is, he doesn't like Andy Dalton as much as he liked his other QBs, and famously wanted to pick Kaepernick before being talked out of it by Jay fukkface Gruden. Brown has actually been damn good the past decade, and I think you can look at the talent he's brought together and see that. I don't know how Marvin feels about Andy, truly, because although he says he supports him and all that jazz in the media, he NEVER tells his true ideas/feelings to the media. He's a master at bullshyt coach speak which is, honestly, infuriating at times.
I really couldn't guess what this means for the franchise. As mentioned in a Grantland article recently, Andy Dalton is the QB nobody (well outside of the internet) wants to admit they don't want. I think the switch to Hue Jackson's system and not having Andy throw the ball 35 fukking times a game(Jay Gruden is an absolutely horrible offensive coach- good luck Redskins) could lead to a good year for him. That's why we drafted another running back. That's why Bernard is there. That's why we drafted Eifert last year. He has a fukk ton of of weapons. But if you look past the "Andy Dalton fukking sucks" storyline that you get bombarded with every time you talk about him on the internet, he has statistically improved a fair amount each year. He's still mid-tier at best, but there IS a chance of him improving to that next tier. I just wouldn't bet my team's future on it. I mean, objectively look at the kid's stats and tell me that they're terrible.
He's been solid out the gate and improved every year. He just throws entirely too fukking much(Looking at you Gruden).Yes, he's not an elite QB, but there is a mid tier level of QBs. We're not dealing with Mark Sanchez. He's just a younger, ginger Romo when it comes down to crunch time.
However, the fact that Mike Brown came out yesterday and said to the media that they want to give him a deal like the one Kaep got, that was famously broken down and shown to be worth really around 15 a year, I feel as though that means Andy's camp wants and believes he's worth more.
In that case, prove it. Go out there this season and prove it. There is absolutely nothing advantageous to signing him before the season. If you are scared of him "proving it" and actually developing into a QB that wins a couple playoff games, or actually brings this remarkably talented team to the SB because you're scared of paying him Flacco money, you shouldn't. The difference between us and the Ravens is we have the cap space to actually pay the man. We will have the core pieces of our team already locked up long term. We've been holding back and saving money exactly for this moment. If he goes out and proves it, awesome. If not, you need to tell him to fukk off and attack the draft again. This team is built to be a huge crutch for a young QB and already is. Dalton does not have a single irreplaceable attribute. He's worth 14-15 a yr right now....I fukking guess, because that's where the market is. But he wants more.
Earn it.
Edit: If you're going to ridicule me for talking about and trying to have a real discussion about my team, even if it is DA BUNGALS, spare me. I love my squad breh
Thanks, man.35 pass attempts per game isn't unreasonable nowadays man. Otherwise, this is an excellent post.
Thanks, man.
And I agree, only if your QB is good enough or less prone to mistakes. But with Andy Dalton, the more attempts you give him, the more chances you give him to disappoint you because he struggles with consistency. Maybe he'll get better. Its his 4th season coming up. He's just 26 years old. It wouldn't be ridiculous for him to make a jump, as a lot of QBs do around this time. He's not a bad QB, but if he had a reliable run game and our run to pass ratio was closer to 50/50, I think more people would consider him to actually be good due to him not having to do so much.
That's what Hue Jackson's plan is for this upcoming season and why we drafted another pretty badass running back in the 2nd round. BJGE has got to go. He took up too many touches and turned them into inefficient bullshyt. Statistically, it should be his best season ever, at least in terms of TD/INT and completion percentage. If it isn't, and the offensive gameplan is actually more balanced, then I'll put the blame more solely on his shoulders.
