I agree on the Walker stuff. It's like they were sent a memo that he had to be redeemed fully by the end of the show so they just hand waved away all of his psychotic tendencies and made him a stand up guy.
It felt really odd.

Im thinking that Contessa may have had some pull in getting Walker in the clear. Maybe she had someone on the inside

I wish they would've acknowledged it on the show, even in a throwaway line.
She could've echoed Isaiah's comments in one of her conversations with Sam.
I think that would've added even more impact to her disbelief in seeing a Black man become Captain America.
