Cacs gonna cac. :lolbron:

These are the exact YT People I was talking about. :martin: I already went into detail as to why Bucky was in the wrong several pages ago, but this white man can't grasp the Wakandans having a failsafe despite the fact that:

A - Bucky is walking around with about $250MM of their property taking up 7% of his body right now, so of course they'd know how to quickly install/uninstall that shyt for maintenance or if he fukked around and found out.

B - The nikka is a literal ex-Nazi/Terrorist/Assassin Supersoldier who has committed 70 years worth of national and international political murders, and who has been put through nearly a century of brainwashing and could relapse at any given moment. So what sense would it make to NOT have a failsafe for the weapon he's been equipped with at their hands?

C - Wakanda as a country hid itself from the outside world for centuries due to mistrust of colonizers and other entities possibly utilizing their technology for less than moral reasons. No matter how much they liked Bucky and may have connected with him due to his struggles to break free of his programming? He's still a white man and an outsider (Who ultimately proved them right in having that failsafe).

They reaching a litlle bit with the trust angle. They designed the arm so they know how it works.
Like if Tony Stark knew how to shut down Rhodey's suit, is because he doesn't trust Rhodey or just because he designed the suit and know how to shut it down?

I'm completely fine with the trust angle. Why would they not include a fail safe they didnt tell him about? Only makes sense in context that Wakandans will never fully trust outsiders.

Lets be honest though...

Wandavision didnt become edge of your seat stuff until episode 4 and by then set up some unfair expectations. I do think WV was more focused and feels less condensed.

Different vibes though.
I can only speak for myself, but I was all the way in on WV since ep 1.

What i'm saying is, is it really a fail safe, or does she simply know how it works since they designed it?

Young N'Jadaka:
"Baba."

N'Jobu:
"Yes, my son?"

Young N'Jadaka:
"Tell me a story."

N'Jobu:
"Which one?"

Young N'Jadaka:
"The story of home."

N'Jobu:
"Millions of years ago, a meteorite made of vibranium, the strongest substance in the universe, struck the continent of Africa, affecting the plant life around it. And when the time of men came, five tribes settled on it and called it Wakanda. The tribes lived in constant war with each other until a warrior shaman received a vision from the panther goddess Bast, who led him to the Heart-Shaped Herb, a plant that granted him superhuman strength, speed, and instincts. The warrior became king and the first Black Panther, the protector of Wakanda. Four tribes agreed to live under the king's rule, but the Jabari tribe isolated themselves in the mountains. The Wakandans used vibranium to develop technology more advanced than any other nation, but as Wakanda thrived, the world around it descended further into chaos. To keep vibranium safe, the Wakandans vowed to hide in plain sight, keeping the truth of their power from the outside world."

Young N'Jadaka:
"And we still hide, Baba?"

N'Jobu:
"Yes."

Young N'Jadaka:
"Why?"

You stay doing this overanalytical shyt and hella wrong everytime:mjlol:

The entire point of the bolded is to establish the heart shaped herb. It's no more complex than that

Applying super soldier characteristic to all Wakandan plant life undermines not only the herb and the Black Panther, but the skill of the Dora Milaje

This deserves an asterisk tho

Most of Wandavision's edge of your seat moments were lies

It was a finesse
This statement is unfair. You’re saying this after knowing the conclusion of the show. And I’m just talking about my experience watching the show.
