Gettin' It In
I haven't seen the episode yet but is the great value cap beating to death scene that bad?
Even the sidebreh was looking at him like
so there are 2 episodes left, and i care more about Zemo and Walker, so i think i'm definitely doing this show wrong. I wanna see Sam suit up as Cap in the end, but i don't give half a fukk about his family storyline. Bucky is just kinda "there" also. Not getting caught up in the whole "Powerbroker" mystery and i've had about enough of the Flag Smashers. I pretty much just wanna see Walker go off the rails more and Zemo is the most compelling character in the show. still good though.
there is. the entire show was supposed to be about a pandemic, but they had to pivot. you can tell there was more to the Flag Smasher stuff. there is definitely something about this show that is bugging me, and it might be what you just said... it's not very creative. it's the antithesis of Wandavision, which started very creatively and kinda got generic towards the end. maybe this will have an insane final 2 episodes. There's just something missing from this show, there's literally zero creativity being expressed.
Twitter is where the mental midgets go. I swear the dumbest fukking takes on thereSo people (mainly white people) on twitter are heated at The Dora Milaje & Ayo for disarming Bucky, saying they never trusted him/they're worse than hydra, etc.
Did these motherfukkers not watch the show???
Bucky betrayed their trust and the trust of the entire country of Wakanda by freeing the man responsible for the death of their previous king. And STILL, they gave Bucky an 8-hour reprieve to get what he needed from Zemo and hand the motherfukker back over out of respect for what they saw him go through. Keep in mind, we saw Okoye about to put a spear through her husband's throat in BP for Wakanda, so that shows how much trust they had in Bucky.
The second Bucky involved himself in the fight with Walker and their pursuit of Zemo (again), was the second that trust rightfully got snatched back. Ayo invoked the name of Bast and basically told James he's no longer welcome in Wakanda. She didn't call him White Wolf, she didn't call him Bucky, she called him James.
Bottom line? Bucky fukked up, and has cost himself the one place on earth that was willing to accept him and where he could be at peace with himself, all because he didn't maintain the trust and check in with them on this.
Sam hasn't impressed me in this series st all. He has been outshined by bucky, Zemo and walker. They have done a terrible job building him up if he's the next captain America.
Mackie and Stan don't have the chops to carry this from an acting POV. Action yes . Acting nope.
That's where Cheadle, Bruehl and that new Cap come in.
I mean captain marvel is boring as fukk but she most likely tier 1...even though she can actBecause breh cannot act.
We knew this before the series started.
Overall he has done well enough, so as long as they don't try to push him to tier-1 Avenger it's all good .

i keep trying to remember Maya Rudolph's name, Karli ______. not sure how i don't know if b/c i feel like they say her full name 6 times an episode trying to pound it in our brain and every time they say it, it feels unnatural. they say it like her name is "Bruce Wayne" or some shyt, like comic heads are gonna hear it and go "ohhhhh fukk, they got Karli _______" up in this!
So allegedly there's going to be a "surprise cameo" in the last 2 episodes...
I didn't even know this. But I've been feeling the same way. I'm barely into this. The ONLY thing I like about this show is the fight scenes. The fight scenes are fire. The actual storyline? I hate it with a passion. Nothing about the story has pulled me in at ALL.
And as much as I want to see Sam as Captain America, I don't think its gonna sell well with audiences because dude just ain't got charisma to carry a property like that.
He stay getting outshined by Walker, Zemo, caps old girlfriend, the Dora Milaje and Bucky (to a lesser extent).
