So red hair a full blown terrorist?
Hmm...It started off really shaky. I was worried the show was about to jump the shark.
Realism and logic, even in fantasy comic storytelling, is so important to me. They almost lost me from the jump of this episode. Last episode I was wonderin why a high security prison in Berlin would allow Sam & Bucky to talk to Zemo. But they never explained it. I didn't buy that at all. I don't care who Sam is, he's in Berlin and the Avengers aren't even really a thing anymore, are they, so that clout doesn't mean much, especially as far as international terrorists go. I need things like that to make sense. I stuck with it though, but then, here we go again...high security prison break out. I know Bucky used to be the stealth master, but how did he get that key in a book that Zemo was already reading??? And where did Zemo get those prison guard clothes, and how he change within a few minutes? It just felt so unrealistic & then after all of that, Sam and Bucky give Zemo so much power and leeway. I did like the smiling Tiger character Sam played. It was a nice nod to canon Sam's mob days. But then here we go again...Why would Sam leave his personal phone's ringer on during an undercover misson? Are they trying to discredit him before he gets the shield back? Cause come on, bruh!
It got better though. I really enjoyed Sharon in this episode. She was badass and I love that she's a art hustler now lol. I was kinda hoping Sam & Sharon would accidently inhale some super soldier mist after that explosion. lol I dunno, I need Sam get better. Right now, he's not very compelling to me, and I want him to be so bad. I want to really root for him. I do think that Anthony Mackie is stiff. I know he went to Julliard and is an accomplished actor, but it always feels like he's acting. He's so wooden to me. Sigh.
Karli's dark turn was unexpected. I thought they were gonna keep her more morally righteous and maybe even pure in her intentions. She's more than gray now, she has real blood on her hands. I was so excited to see the appearance of Ayo. I love that Bucky knows Wakandans well enough to sniff her out. That was a great surprise cameo. I hope this means trouble for Zemo. Wakandans don't play with their food lol. I'm kinda relieved because I don't like that guy and I don't think Sam & Bucky have full control over him. I think this episode got better as it went along. C+
The fukk is wrong with comic book fans
this is Cellular erasure, and i won't stand for it. no one remembers that dumbass entertaining movie?Dude really did justice to the role, but are you forgetting his only creditials going in was human torch and not another teen movie (them shytty spoof knockoff of Scary Movie). i was literally saying the same thing about him when he was casted.
Especially marvel stans it seemsWe had banned DC stans (who claimed they was black) sending deaths threats on a daily bases.
If not that, then spewing homosexuality
People are crazy man
They didn’t, this show was supposed to air before WandaVision. Its just a call back to the opening scene from Winter Soldier.Bucky gave that typical answer that white folks do about Black artists when Sam asked him about Marvin gaye. Coincidentally, yesterday ( Friday April 2nd ) when the episode aired was Marvin's bday Marvel definitely planned that
Derek kolstad is the Curren$y of Hollywood. Keeps putting out the same song but it's still dopeThat's why that whole sequence felt familiar and John Wick-ish. The club and Sharon's fight in Madripoor.
HellFire Club theories!?!Sebastian Shaw said folks are coming to him out in public trying to activate the Winter Soldier and its pretty annoying
