watched this again the other night, and gotta say... thank God this merger might happen, b/c if they were even flirting with the idea of a "Ravagers" movie, it would have been brutal. i hope they aren't even a major part of the next movie.

Will say that i still enjoy the shyt out of it, but since seeing Ragnarok, it definitely probably lost about a half point/point ranking.

Ragnarok was the best comic book movie of the year. Some will say Logan, which is good, but i disagree. Some will say Wonder Woman... which is nonsense. it's fine.

From a screen writing standpoint, Logan is better than Ragnarok, but I definitely enjoyed Ragnarok more and I'll probably rewatch Ragnarok much more than Logan.

I need to give this another shot. I may have been trying to compare this to the first one too much.

When they showed up at the end of the IW trailer, tho :wow:

as much as i'm into the screenwriting "community*" I don't really watch these movies with story details and beats in mind. i should, but i don't. I'm always on the look for callbacks and little threads that get tied up in movies, but as far as story structure, i don't really give much of a fukk if I'm thoroughly entertained, and i think that's the case with most casual viewers too. I probably couldn't give you a detailed plot breakdown of many movies, b/c I just ultimately don't care. I can however highlight the moments I loved in said movie.

*i fukkin hate that word. can't stand when people say they are part of a community.

Don't forget the fact that he chased that one Ravager down and dropped him to his death. :picard:
My man @Groot is a straight up psychopath. Last movie he skewered a whole squad of dudes shish kabob style, smashed them against the walls and ceiling, and then smiled afterwards :demonic:

It's hilarious how people never mention any of this, all you hear is how cute & funny he is. Buying the kids Groot toys etc.

Just wait till he runs up on some Vegans in Infinity War. :wow:

If you actively try to write screenplays, tv shows or hell write in general then you are a part of the community.

I'm of the opinion "trying" doesn't constitute inclusion. I've made a little money writing over the years, but i will never tell anyone I'm a "writer" until I have something worth discussing under my belt. it feels like dishonest bullshyt to me... but that's me. I tell people that "i write" but for some reason calling myself a "writer" doesn't feel like an earned title, and thus doesn't put me in said community.

But you know damn well i'm in the small minority. someone could get retweeted and promote themselves as a contributor to the site that RT'd them in their twitter bio.
