Man how you fumble an Avengers game?
There's a strong disconnect and I think it's straight up Marvel's fault.
Almost every marvel game I've played before the MCU took over was at the very least fun.
Even if they weren't amazing they captured the spirit of the characters.
The problem with marvel games now is the MCU is soooo heavily pushed you can't just make a marvel game without the GOTG or avengers with certain members being pushed down your throat. And if I can feel that as a consumer, the devs and publishers must get it times 100.
Those MCU movie watchers that only know characters from the movie aren't going to hype up your marvel game.
For them those actors are the characters, hence why this avengers games seems so off
Realistic marvel character that are model after random joe blow doesn't connect with the comic book fans nor the MCU crowd
Capcom and X-Men legends laid the blue print.
Just make marvel games that are comic book artsy, don't have to have gotg, avengers and Thanos in it and profit
