Smh, downplay the superior version because Sony tossed you some change.

Not surprised the game is flopping with the business practices.

The worst part all the news articles are like the playstation version has a mode that the Xbox is lacking. "Yet another exclusive for the game over xbox"

:scust:

The Xbox version already has a performance mode....:snoop:

Itll prob just be 4k60 across the board on series x so they don't need the performance mode like on ps5

How did anyone ever hate on the visuals of this game ?
Playing it right now on the Series X and yeah, this is definitely top tier for last gen.
EASILY.

Insane graphics.

Most hated the art-style, not the graphics per say. Thing is, some fools don't know that there's a difference. Gfx was sublime for sure. Art-style....I liked it enough, but I can see how some have contention with it. Most comic book fans seemingly desire more...vibrant and/or more animated art-styles for comic book iterations, which I get, to some degree.

Some of the design decisions weren't that hype tbh. In some cases, they could've done more and in some cases, they could've/should've did less. Like, I know lot of folks felt that Black Widow didn't look pretty enough in the face, in part, cuz they're MCU fans comparing it to Scar Jo. Hell, a lot of folks shytted on the game for the character designs not more resembling their MCU iterations. And on the other side, folks hated that they went too realistic for their looks, with even more slant to that considering they don't look like their MCU counterparts. But, comic books have always had different art styles, some more preferred than others, but often quite drastic in styles from others, so it wasn't much issue to me.

I dont think ti was because they didn’t look like the movie counterparts i just think it’s because the actual facial animations and models were just flat out unappealing. Like, take spider-man for instance, the original peter didn’t look like any of the movie actors (maaaaybe Garfield a bit) and then hated the fact that the new one looked like a slightly off brand tom holland.

Miles doesn’t look like the spider-verse miles even though he was a cartoon they still ahve totally different looks. Same with Batman Arkham games, no one cares that Bruce way always looks different.

The avengers games just had really bad and generic art direction. They didn’t try and do their own thing with it they just it for an extremely bland western look. Thor looked like one of those old rubber WWF toys

:ohhh: I just finished Age of Calamity (dope game!) and these gifs just reminded me that an Avengers game in that style might work. In know Dynasty Warriors isn't everyone's flavor but imagine playing out that Wakanda scene from IW, or fighting Ultron with 100's of sentries flying around :ahh:

This game:snoop:

more disappointing than cyberpunk :skip:

It would have had to have hype to begin with to be more disappointing. Most of us knew from that first trailer it was Basura stranding and if that didn’t cement it for you the weekend beta was there to make sure your expectations were in hell

True but it’s still disappointing, you fumbled a Avengers game at their pinnacle of popularity. Inexcusable :francis:
