Live service games
Reintroduce them later with modifiers and events. Destiny didn't let people do this shyt til last year I think? And even then, their new player/new light introduction is comically non intuitive.
But looking at the trophies right now, its clear that the VAST majority of people ain't close to finishing shyt anyways. Everyone here who's finished rushed through this and deep into endgame. The amount of players right now with a level 50 or power 150 character says plenty.
They really had a confused development wishlist imo. These are things that can be communicated clearly and designed much better as to prevent any sort of questions or frustration. For example, all they had to do here was unlock all characters from the jump then have campaign add more than the skins/nameplates. Problem solves itself. You can already solo everything which is dope as many other live service games will fight you before letting you solo anything.
