Marvel Studios’ The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Holiday Special | Disney+ [11/25]

This was pretty cool for a Christmas Special and something to get families in the spirit with. Genuinely hope no one was expecting anything crazy from this, lol. Drax and Mantis dominate much of the screentime, but overall the Guardians get their spotlight in a more fulfilling way than the uninspired cameo in Love and Thunder.

I dig how much heart these James Gunn projects have though, even on the DC side, and I know I’ll be on the verge of bawling when Vol. 3 drops next year.

Groot in the cut with the Planet Fitness membership and Rocket getting Bucky’s arm was wild.

Gunn turned what should be a terrifying situation of the Guardians breaking into someone’s home into something hilarious.

Yes, was a good special. I liked that Mantis got a chance to shine. It was interesting to see where they're at now - based at Knowhere, interacting with cosmo, Groot older.

This was a good special. Very heartfelt. The title is exactly what it is. So don’t expect some crazy shyt to happen..

It was interesting to see the growth Mantis has shown. How she is standing up for herself and revealing she is the sister to Peter.

Which will most likely come into play for the movie.

I guess you can say it’s a fitting end to Phase 4

Haven't seen this yet, but WWBN is while not something I would say qualifies as a 'must watch' at all continunity wise, it's one of the best and most unique projects they've done and you should probably watch it for it's own merits. I get the appeal of 'it's all connected' but never being able to veer away from that even a little bit is going to keep the limitations in place that people complain so much about.
