A weakened Galactus lol a full power Galactus would’ve brushed that off.

I'm not sure i agree with that, but that's beside the point because i'm talkin about the literal look (Thing looking like Thing, and all of them being cacs) and feel of the family dynamic.
It has everything to do with him being weakenedit is not an attack of force. it is an attack of guile.
galactus' battery levels have nothing to do with it.
galactus loathes his destructive role in the universe. he was after all previously just "galen".
this is all examined in Thanos mini-series 2003 issue 4 where galactus tries to consume the infinity gems to stop his hunger for destruction.
"But what made Galactus the PERFECT DUPE was his deeply buried SELF-LOATHING, his almost unacknowledged DESIRE to ESCAPE the DESTRUCTIVE ROLE he plays in the universe."
remember: galactus has on occasion stopped consuming inhabited planets (and not just becuase of surfer).
galactus promised richards not to attack earth because of his gratitude.

we are not arguing about whether strange is powerful enough to affect galactus.
the argument is whether galactus feels something for all his killing.
the Thanos series (screenshots above, full comics online) says yes.
galactus deep down hates that he has to kill.
