Well yea i wouldn't expect it to be out the same year. Im saying marvel needs a "female franchise" to ocmpete agaisnt wonder woman and the female spidey flick. If it's not black widow who else will it be?

WW is by far and large more popular then BW. But I have no doubt BW would be a better movie though. After seeing what marvel did to a corny ass superhero like Captain america im on board 100% with whatever they do.


100% this. Scarlett is just too popular right now not to get that star billing. It's just a matter of when it's gonna happen. Id put money on it being one of the untitled movies of phase 3.

With all of Marvel’s success I don’t think they feel the pressure of diversity for diversity’s sake. There are a lot of articles written about it but I don’t think Marvel/Disney feels it is completely necessary to do before they plan to do it. Currently, with all the articles about the lack of diversity in the leads of their movies they still haven’t announced a minority/woman in a lead role. They just pay lip service to the diversity question, they have yet to bow down to it.

All I’m saying is all you have is a strong guess. Nothing has been remotely announced or put into place, meaning if they do it, it won’t be anytime soon. I think they got the next couple of years mapped out with no evidence of a BW movie included.

She's fine where she is floating around the Marvel movies, but given that it's Scarlett, I'm sure they will give her a solo movie at some point. And the only real drawing point of that for me would be to see her running around in a skin-tight black outfit for 90 minutes.

If it was just some random girl that wasn't a big name, no one would be talking about a Black Widow movie because no one has ever wanted a Black Widow movie until Scarlett's big titties filled the suit.

I'm thinking this will be them announcing the movies that are on the schedule that haven't been named yet and also letting the world know who they cast as Dr. Strange.
I think Strange might be getting a big name.

I like Cumberbatch on Sherlock but I wasn't even really thinking of him for this role when I posted who I would like to see cast in the Jared Leto thread.
