I know it’s not the MCU way but they should really go back to not announcing a movie before they have a script, director and production start date locked down

This is true, but how many MCU properties does this really apply to ? This is the only one that they’ve done this with I think. Maybe infinity war but everyone knew that was going to be a while.

Honestly considering they weren’t even planning on using or introducing Blade, the development isn’t all that crazy considering how long it takes to bring in and brainstorm everything. The OG Blade took years to build up and even needed extensive re shoots. I think Ali and Marvel know it’s better to get it right at this point than just pull a secret invasion again.
