I hope this is good.

I recently ran through spectacular and TAS.

I could really use a good, modern, spider-man cartoon that has intriguing character arcs and stories.

Not just made to tell jokes and sell toys.

In your opinion, which one was better?

Spectacular had more modern story telling, animation and character arcs

But TAS is longer, introduced more chars and also help bring about some things to spider man that are now common place (symbiote changes, first version of spider verse, green goblin being a split persona)

Spectacular is better but TAS prolly had more impact and influence.
