From the dev talks video, they mentioned that at the start of season 2 all the players will get their rank decreased by 9 divisions. That is, if you are in diamond 1, then you will be placed in silver 1.

The minimum requirement level for playing ranked now will be increased to level 15 instead of 10.

One more thing is that, now the ranked points will be more based on your performance, that is the better you perform the better ranked points you get.

Lastly, now players will be able to ban heroes in competitive matches starting from gold 3 instead of diamond.

What do you all think about these new changes?
