that trailer caught my attention, thunderbolts could be a sleeper hit...im still not gravitating towards F4 or BNW tho
they saying this screened well especially compared to BNW

Tired of the whole corny "disfunctional but loveable rejects and criminals with a heart of gold that grow to care for each other" jokey vibe.

It screen tested-well? If so, it may end up doing better than my own skepticism leads me to believe.
Suicide Squad overestimated Harley's popularity but you could understand the vision of putting goofy violent characters played by charismatic actors around what they believed was a disruptive "Deadpool"-esque cash cow; all forced to work together by a diabolical contrast to MCU Nick Fury.
Whereas Thunderbolts feels a bit random/pointless... like they're trying to salvage a film they wouldn't have green-lit if they could do it over again. Not sure how many of the main cast even qualify as cult favorites that mainstream audiences been clamoring to see more of.
But, if it does a good job of being what it advertises itself to be... a goofy more "grounded" GotG/SS hybrid, then perhaps that's enough to get it done in the box office.

Winter Soldier definitely is a favorite. And they are trying to establish Florence Pugh as a big part of the MCU going forward.
Yeah, Bucky is the fan favorite character of the cast by far.
Marvel obviously wants Yelena (Florence Pugh) to be the "new Black Widow" since Natasha (ScarJo) is no longer around.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this film, though I'm not on board for Taskmaster. They seem to be doing a better job with her in this movie than the Black Widow movie but I can't really fault them for her depiction there since they were obviously angling for a surprise in regards to her identity. That said, I want the comic version to show up if only since his personality would work very well here and in the movies altogether. Also, part of me wonders if they will kill off Tasky and Red Guardian in this movie or at least retire one of them. Casualty of Bob flipping out I'm sure.
Bucky absolutely is the most known out the bunch, no arguments there.. but i dunno if ppl look at him like aww snap let me book my tickets now bc Bucky in dis bytch. Granted that wasn't the case with Harley either (probably more DCEU "newness" hype + Will Smith, for how well/front-loaded the first SS did) but i understand why they'd have thought she'd be.
But i go back to if the screen tests are positive and ppl are f'ing with blonde widow and her crew, that's the most important win.

Isn't the actor having a bit of a moment (Sebastian Stan)? That might help but I'm a little out of the loop regarding that.
