Nah, we wanted T'Challa recasted and the money proved it.
You really think fanboys would be happy with a replacement T'Challa come on breh
There would be a million threads bytching about it.

Nah. Just be happy you were one of the folks who experienced Marvel’s golden era. I STILL watch IW & EG when they’re on tv and I have Disney+I'm sad.
I'm a comic book guy. Got a couple of long boxes of prime 90s books still.
Iron Man was a dream come true. It was the first comic book movie that seemed like the comic book jumped onto the movie screen.
From there, MCU nailed it. Not every movie was great, but the highs were so high. Even the lows were still decent.
Now. I have no faith in anything they do. After Endgame, the best has been meh. And the worst is so bad I can't even watch.
Is it even possible to restore the feeling? Perhaps too much has happened for there to ever be an Iron Man type turning point again.
Interestingly the director of thr last movie wanted that but fox stopped him.
But this cast is all white. So I am sure the fan boys will complain about Reed being south American
didn't say he wasn't.He is deserving of all his recent roles
The problem is, and always has been, Doom. If Doom is good, all the F4 has to do is not be total garbage. This is literally the 4th or 5th time they tried to sell us on the Fantastic 4. Nobody cares about them, they should just focus on other characters and have them sprinkled in other Marvel movies as side characters.
Thats buddy from The Bear
Nah, we wanted T'Challa recasted and the money proved it. Crazy part is they could have WAITED. They did not have to do a second movie so soon. They wanted their cake and to eat it too.
The proper way to use them is supporting characters in a movie, but they don't want to do it the smart way.Fantastic 4 is boring. I think Marvel got lucky on their 10 year run. They don't release good shyt anymore.
That would go completely against the source material, which is usually a recipe for disaster. They're supposed to be a family, that's a large part of their dynamic. What you're describing is basically GOTG. They did that already.Agreed.
Having them each show up in different movies to build them up as a team would've been good. For example, Reed could have shown up in that last ant man movie.
Similar to how the avengers were built up with different members being shown or confirmed to exist at the end of the different movies.
Deadpool looks like it could be it....I'm sad.

-Yes, actual fans would've been fine with it. People wanted to see T'Challa fight Namor, not Shuri. You really think fanboys would be happy with a replacement T'Challa come on breh

-What's that you say? Non binary Dr. Doom? Coming right up.I was worried they were going to make Sue a transgender black man or something. But they largely avoided the LGBT gender swapping/race bending.....
Tough titty, nobody involved with the movie wanted to recast. And 4 years is “so soon?”
